A dramatic low-angle dutch tilt captures the clash from below, with steep foreshortening emphasizing the kinetic impact between steel and shadow. In the foreground, a slender teenage boy with dark navy-blue shaggy hair—its long fringe falling between his eyes and entirely obscuring his right eye—drops his center of gravity into a rigid defensive stance. His visible left blue eye locks upward in fierce, unwavering focus. Both hands tightly grip the hilt of a polished steel arming sword, angling the edge diagonally upward to intercept and block a violent downward lunge. He wears a tailored black uniform jacket worn unbuttoned over a white collared shirt accented by a slender black neck ribbon, the jacket's lower hem flaring backward from the force of the strike. Looming directly above him is a pitch-black grotesque entity whose warped humanoid torso contorts into long, spindly, spider-like limbs. Its head is an entirely smooth, blank black oval completely devoid of eyes and nose, tilted forward as thick, viscous tar-like fluid oozes across its surface and stretches into sticky strings that drip through the air. One of the creature's elongated, clawed forelimbs is locked firmly against the boy's raised sword blade. A brilliant burst of white-hot sparks flares at the exact metallic point of contact, casting sharp rim light across the boy's determined face and reflecting off the creature's slick, pitch-black surface, while droplets of black liquid splatter onto the stone floor beneath them. Beyond the pool of clash-light, the background dissolves into cold, murky teal-black shadows. Imposing and fiercely kinetic.
