A dutch-tilted medium-wide shot from the side at slightly above the pair's eye line: a small blond girl with long twin-tails, a thin ahoge curling off the crown and a blue bow knotted at the left tail root, blue eyes, and two small fangs poking over her lower lip stands leaning into a large black bear mascot. Her long blond front locks fall down over her chest. Below her waist there is no skirt hem but a single heavy serpent tail, yellow-ochre scales banded with darker ochre, thick as her own hips at the base and tapering as it runs down to the floor; the tail bows back behind her in a low S so her weight rides on the curve of it, the belly scutes pressing flat where it meets the ground.
She is hugging him: both arms wrapped around his midsection, her cheek mashed flat against his chest fur, her fingers hooked into the fabric of his back. She is suspended in the hug, half propped on the coiled tail, and her fangs show because her mouth is open in a broad, cheeky grin squashed sideways against him, one eye squeezed shut and the other aimed up at his face. He is much taller and rounder: black fur with shaggy white fur along the face and chest, two long twin-tail-like tufts falling beside his cheeks, long black hair framing his face and hanging between his eyes, a knotted neckerchief at his throat. Both of his short round arms come around her shoulders and the small of her back, one big paw resting flat between her shoulder blades, his head tipped down toward the top of her hair with his small eyes closed in a soft, patient curve, mouth a gentle line.
Contact: her forearms flatten his chest fur, her hip and tail base press into his belly, his chin hovers just above her crown, and her tail presses a wide flat dent into a thin scatter of dust on the floorboards.
Light comes from one high window on the left: a cool shaft that catches the top of her blond hair and the blue bow as a bright rim, drops his face and chest into warm deep black fur shadow, and lays a long soft-edged shadow of the pair and the snake tail across the boards to the lower right. Palette is limited to blond yellow, the tail's ochre, the blue bow, and black-and-white bear fur against a muted warm grey wooden interior, nothing else admitted. The scale of the two bodies is the joke: she is small and sharp, he is enormous and soft. Tenderness played as comedy.
