The once beautiful forest had now turned into a desolate, ruined place. Dead trees lay strewn across the ground, their branches charred and broken. The air was thick with the pungent smell of smoke, and the ground was scorched from a recent fire. It was a place that no one would willingly venture into, except for a group of five men. John, Pablo, Jake, Alex, and Thomas had been childhood friends, and they had embarked on a camping trip in the heart of the forest. They had heard rumors about a demon that roamed the woods, but they brushed it off as superstition. Little did they know, they were about to come face to face with the demon themselves. As night descended, the atmosphere became darker and more foreboding. They gathered around a campfire, trying to block out the eerie feeling that was creeping up on them. Suddenly, a loud, menacing voice echoed through the trees. 'I have been watching you, and now, you will pay for trespassing in my domain,' the demon snarled. The men looked around frantically, searching for the source of the voice. That's when they saw it - a figure emerging from the shadows, its eyes blazing with fire. The demon towered over them, its twisted horns and sharp claws leaving the men frozen with fear. It demanded that they drink lava from a nearby volcano as punishment for daring to enter its territory. The men were horrified, but they knew they had no other choice but to obey. One by one, they were forced to drink the scorching hot lava. Each gulp felt like fire in their throats, and they could feel their insides burning. But miraculously, they survived. The demon roared in anger, unable to believe that these men had defied the lava's deadly power. It disappeared into the night, leaving the men trembling but alive. As they stumbled out of the forest the next morning, the men realized that their friendship had been tested in the most unimaginable way. Despite the terror they had faced, they knew that they would always have each other's backs, no matter what challenges they may face in the future. From that day on, they never spoke of the demon again, but they knew that they had encountered something truly terrifying in that ruined, dark forest.
