Zerø's History

Zerø is a seemingly ordinary 12-year-old girl who lives with her human parents in a quiet, everyday life. Despite this, she has always felt a little different, as if she didn't fit in anywhere. One day, when she sees a schoolmate being attacked by a dark energy, she acts on instinct to help him... and ends up awakening an angelic form she never knew existed. Confused and scared, Zerø runs home, and her parents finally reveal the truth: she is not their biological daughter; in fact, she is not even human. Zerø is an angel who lost her memory when, when she was very young, she came down to Earth out of curiosity and ended up fainting. The couple who found her decided to raise her as their daughter, as they could not have children and saw in her an unexpected gift. An older angel was sent to Earth to look for her, but upon seeing how much she was loved and well cared for, he decided to let her live as a human. But now, with her powers awakened, Zerø must deal with the revelation of her true origins and the dangers of the spiritual world that begin to manifest themselves. Despite looking like a child, Zerø is much older, after all, angels' time is different, and their childhood can last for years. She has no biological parents, as angels are born when a human is born and are raised by other, older angels. Now, with the help of a guardian angel, Zerø begins to train to understand who she really is and what her purpose is: to protect the world from darkness, without losing the humanity she has learned to love.
