So obviously Gojo is canon and not an OC, but I just had to (think of it as event-tangental): For Gojo, I chose the white camellia: a flower often linked to purity, brilliance, resilience, and the quiet weight of unspoken feelings. In Japan, it can also symbolize the fragility of life and the way things can fall away in an instant. And honestlyโฆ I got a little sad thinking about how well that fits him. Gojo is dazzling, overwhelming, larger than life, but he also carries a lot thatโs never said out loud. The camellia felt right for him not because of the tragedy in his story, but because it reflects the contrast between how the world sees him and who he is beneath the shine. However, they also carry a gentler meaning: steadfast affection and admiration without needing words- things, despite his occasional goofiness, he shows for those he cares about (and deserves to be shown in kind).
