In Estival Versus, clothing damage works almost the same as Shinovi Versus: Cinematics are triggered when a outfit breaks, and Ninja Arts breaks clothes too, the differences being that the outfit breaks in 3 stages, without being concerned of which part of the outfit is touched. There is some unbreakable outfits and characters like Sayuri aren't affected. There is 4 stage of damage: 1: Intact outfit, no damage; 2: Torn outfit, low damage; 3: Shredded Outfit, important damage; 4: Lingerie, Naked, destroyed outfit & swimsuit. Can be done like in Shinovi versus by a "Finish her! Fatality." (Ultimate Art used as coup de grace), which leads to a "classical" defeat of the target, or an unknown way that leads to the same defeat scene, but with another dialogues. (Tests needed) Of course, censoring lights appears when it happens. Like Shinovi Versus, Clothing Damage doesn't seem to have any effect on defenses. Note that the most common way to take Clothing Damage is by taking advanced heavy attacks (those which are used in combos) or Ranging attack of the characters who get up. The mechanics are the same in Burst:Renewal, except that the burst mode leads to a cinematic which leads to the opponent getting naked ("classical" defeat) if it was activated while inflicting the coup de grace. This can by some way be called a Fatality.

Several pieces of debris are suspended around Mikasa and Eren, each frozen at a different distance from the camera. Dust catches the sunlight in thin atmospheric streaks.
Mikasa's Survey Corps uniform is sharply detailed and windswept, with the cropped brown jacket open over the fitted uniform, harness straps pulled taut across her body, white trousers, tall boots, and the Wings of Freedom insignia clearly visible. Eren wears his recognizable Survey Corps uniform and green jacket, with his harness, ODM equipment, and boots rendered with precise mechanical detail.
A subtle graphic-design layer is integrated into the composition without overpowering the action: Wings of Freedom emblem are overlaid across the sky, Thin white directional lines follow the trajectories of Mikasa and Eren, while small restrained military-style markings and typography sit along the edges of the frame. The graphic elements reinforce the movement rather than becoming random decoration.
The entire image is frozen at one extraordinary instant: Mikasa's scarf curves through the air, Eren's jacket flares behind him, cables are pulled completely taut, debris hangs in the air, dust streams diagonally through the sunlight, and both characters are caught at different points of the same sweeping maneuver.
