A high-angle close-up shot looking down at a girl frozen in a state of panic. From the neck down, her entire body and clothing have been transformed into solid, polished gold, the surface reflecting a cold, metallic sheen. A deep, jagged crack splits the golden surface between her chin and her collarbone, leaving her head precariously balanced and tilted, as if about to slide off the neck. Her face is mostly consumed by the gold, which has crept down from the top of her forehead like a descending curtain. One eye is completely obliterated, covered entirely by a seamless layer of gold; the other eye is more than half-covered from above, leaving only a thin, frantic sliver of a blue iris visible at the bottom. Her remaining expression is one of wide-eyed terror, mouth slightly agape, caught in a motionless scream. The light is a sharp, clinical white from above, creating high-contrast highlights on the golden curves of her shoulders and the deep void of the crack at her neck. The background is a seamless, void-like charcoal grey, making the brilliant gold and the small patch of pale skin pop. Desperate, suffocating.
