Above the brow the single large eye sits centered in the forehead, wide open and burning a hot saturated red with a bright core and a faint halo of crimson bleeding into the brow fur; every other eye socket in the face is shut, the lids sealed flat and dark, lashes pressed down, no light escaping them.
Black shadowy smoke billows up from behind the shoulders and rolls forward along the ground beneath the feet, its edges curling into the space between the legs and the wings, and where the smoke passes in front of the crimson glow it goes opaque, swallowing the light. Around the body a crimson aura bleeds off the fur, brightest along the backlit edges of the arms, the horns and the wing bones, and behind everything a dark purple and red aura explosion blooms outward in bursts and streaks, purple at the inner core shading to blood red at the outer edges. The sky beyond is dark crimson, cross-hatched by a single branching fork of lightning that flashes pale at the top right of the frame and throws the silhouette of the horns and wings into hard black shape.
Rim light sits behind and above the figure, a hard crimson key striking the tops of the horns, the upper curve of each wing, the tops of the shoulders and the upper teeth, leaving the chest, the undersides of the arms and the inner faces of the legs in deep shadow.
