Inside the native cities, there’s this thing they call the “underworld,” and it’s… really big, and kinda fascinating in a weird way. If we want to take control of those areas, using military force isn’t the best idea. So instead, we’re trying “softer” methods, like negotiation and… pulling people to our side. The problem is, the ones who run the “underworld” have their own rules. Their own ways of doing things. And once again, we have to step into something totally unfamiliar and figure out how to take it over without… breaking everything. P.S. Lately, Maya has been stumbling back looking all gloomy, sometimes with only a few pieces of underwear left. She got scolded a lot by big sis Lambda—something like: “Gambling is for idiots who can’t think properly.” It looks like Maya finally got reassigned to Operation God-slain, where her Magi-Tech skills can actually be useful… I hope she’s doing better there.)
