"..You're late. Again." The girl said into the telephone. 「……また遅刻」その少女は受話器に向かってそう言った。 "...Sorry! I'm almost there! Traffic was really bad today, just give me five more minutes!" A panicky voice came from the telephone. 『……ごめん！ もうすぐ着くから！ 今日は道路がめちゃくちゃ混んでて……あと５分、あと５分だけ待って！』電話の向こうから、焦ったような声が響く。 "..Too late, everyone's already started eating." 「……遅すぎ。みんな、もう食べ始めてるよ」 "What!" An exasperated tone, "I can't believe them! And to think I'm late because of them.." 『嘘でしょ！？』呆れたようなトーン。『信じられない！ っていうか、私が遅れてるのってそもそもあいつらのせいなのに……』 "..Wait, they? You haven't?" 「……待って、“あいつら”？ あんた、まだ食べてないの？」 "...That's what I said." 『……そういうこと』 "Aw, I always knew you were kind Dys!" 『あはは、ディスってば本当は優しいってずっと分かってたよ！』 "...Not to slackers who make me wait in the cold, starting from today." The girl began to hang up, hearing but one last panicked scream from the receiver as she pulled it away from her ear. 「……今日から、寒空の下で私を待たせる怠け者には優しくしないことにした」彼女が通話を切ろうと受話器を耳から離すと、そこから最後の一言──絶望に満ちた叫びが聞こえてきた。 "Shit—! Wait, wait, wait, hold on—" 『クソっ──！ 待って待って待って、ちょっと──』 They started eating three minutes later. Somehow those five minutes turned out to be less than expected. その３分後、二人は食事を始めた。どういうわけか、あの「５分」は予想よりも短かったようだ。
