On the table's polished surface in the foreground rests an open video game case with its printed cover clearly reading "tsubamki 3", surrounded by tangled controller cords and small porcelain snack dishes. On the left, a girl with long brown hair in low twintails, furry upright squirrel ears, and a huge bushy squirrel tail resting across the tatami sits back on a plush floor cushion in a layered cream mori-style dress; she holds her game controller up at chest level with both hands, head tilted in comical bewilderment, green eyes wide and cheeks lightly puffed as her fingers hesitate over the unfamiliar buttons. In the center, a blonde girl with long sidelocks, an energetic ahoge, a musical note hair ornament, and a bright red ribbon leans forward on both knees in a cropped white jacket and frilled shirt, gripping her controller with frantic enthusiasm, red eyes locked onto the game and mouth stretched open in a loud, joyful cheer. Behind her shoulder, a second blonde girl wearing a patterned haori over a wrapped white chest sarashi sits neatly in seiza with her hair swept up into a high ponytail, aqua eyes wide with earnest focus as her black-gloved hands hold a dark controller upright against her lap, leaning in to follow the action. To the right, a blue-haired girl wearing a tilted beret, dangling earrings, and a tailored dark jacket sits casually with crossed legs, one gloved hand braced on the floor while the other works her controller with effortless mastery; her starry blue eyes cast an amused sidelong glance at the shouting blonde girl beside her, a smug, teasing grin playing at the corner of her lips. Across the room, an illuminated flat-screen monitor acts as a secondary light source, bathing the front planes of their faces, controllers, and knees in vibrant cyan and magenta light and displaying a colorful title screen reading "TSUBAMKI 3", while a paper lantern overhead provides warm golden ambient light that defines the woven texture of the floor and the soft indentations beneath each seated girl. Exuberant chaos.
