She’s intended for an original generation of Pretty Cure, and, as the name gives, she’s Chinese; her character was originally conceived as being a “stereotypical anime chinese girl” just to round out the trio, and to go with the idea of triceratops etc? Part of the idea is that our trio of Cures have two sets of colors (because they have three distinct Cures, two seperate ones and a merged one), the first one being “Pink/Blue/Purple” and them later having character development into having a “Yellow/Magenta/Cyan” set, and Jon is initially the blue Cure, Cure Tops, who is defined by “friendship” and stuff, before she comes into her own as a leader of sorts as Cure Scale (the original Pink is going through some sort of crisis, I have just come up with this idea right now? For whatever reason, Jon has to step up as the leader) who is magenta. Basically, she ends up being the deuteragonist, which is intended to be a “twist” or something? …I really just had way more dinosaurs that seemed neat than ideas for characters, so the trio doubled up, and yeah. Cure Tops is Triceratops, and Cure Scale is Stegasaurus, with her final, “fused” form being Cure Shield.
