Enoshima Junko AKA Verweiflung

Enoshima Junko née Ikusaba Junko The instigator of the Tragedy on her own Earth in another multiverse, this is Enoshima Junko, who became Gifted as the Herald of Cosmic Doom, Verzweiflung (which is German for "despiration"), after her soul was shifted into the universe of The End of the Circus thanks to an ancient Sagussan weapon of mass destruction, the haijo-ju ("will of the people"), by fans of the Danganronpa games and anime living on the planet Phentax Two. Atop getting a healthy Avalonian body (the Niphentaxians from Phentax Two had once enslaved the Avalonians before the Yizibajohei freed them in a Mother of All Fight Scenes in the late spring of 2012 Earth-time), Junko would receive both minor reality warping powers as well as the abilities of a top-level empathic vampire; she literally FEEDS on negative feelings, especially despair...and while such does not become life-threatening when she doesn't do same, the lack of feeding on such emotions does make her cranky. Fortunately, those she feeds from don't feel any negative effects of same. Junko is the younger of twin sisters, her older counterpart being Ikusaba Mukuro, who joined the Fenrir Group at a young age as a way of supporting her sister's growing modelling career. Being fascinated by experiencing despair, Junko would eventually create the first Monokuma unit...which would, it would later be revealed, literally brainwash her into unleashing the Tragedy on her Earth, a society-shattering event which killed millions and brought down nations. Along the way, she would engage in the Killing School Life experiment at Hope Peak Academy, where she would manipulate her peers from behind the scenes into playing a deadly game where they'd be forced to kill their peers and get away with it. She would be caught and subjected to her own death...but then, alien children who took pity on her story would save her and her peers, not to mention many others who would fall victim to Monokuma and his own peers in various separate lethal games, including one SEVEN DECADES in the future from the Killing School Life event. Reborn and Gifted, Junko would become an anti-hero; despite her obsession with despair, she is a VERY intelligent woman and knows she had been beaten by Naegi Makoto (who was later Gifted as Bonaventure). She also has her own twin sister Mukuro (Gifted as Kämpfer) to keep her in line. As to what will happen in the future...that's another story.
