A Little Green Slime with a Big Heart!

There's just something incredibly endearing about this little green slime; those wide, glossy eyes staring up at me from the stone floor really tug at my heartstrings. It looks so proud of that single coin it's holding onto! If this little guy made you smile, please give it a like and follow for more cozy fantasy art. I'd love to hear what you think in the comments below!

slime (creature), 1monster, no humans, puddle, liquefied, melted, gelatinous, ooze, translucent, from above, high angle, dungeon, stone floor, flagstones, wet surface, bubbles, fantasy monster, traditional media (artwork), painterly Seen from a high angle looking down at a damp dungeon floor, a single gelatinous slime creature has collapsed completely into a wide, shallow puddle across ancient slate flagstones. Its viscous, translucent olive-green mass spreads outward in slow undulating ripples, held by heavy surface tension in rounded, bulbous meniscus edges that seep into the recessed mortar joints between the pavers. Near the slightly thicker, domed center of the puddle, a pair of dark, glossy spherical pseudo-eyes float horizontally beneath the surface, gazing upward through the jelly, while tiny suspended air bubbles and a single tarnished copper coin rest trapped within the fluid. A warm, directional light from an off-frame torch strikes the glossy puddle at an angle, catching crisp specular highlights along every wet crest while refracting a soft, tinted caustic glow onto the cold grey stone directly underneath the translucent slime. The composition is rendered with detailed painterly textures and a traditional tabletop RPG handbook aesthetic, displaying rich textural brushwork across the wet monster mass and the pitted stonework. Weary stillness.
