Amélie von Zeppelin AKA DMS Graf Zeppelin

Amélie Françoise, Reichsgräfin von Zeppelin Germany's primal shipgirl, the one capital ship of the Kreigsmarine which never got to serve thanks to the bitter rivalries between that arm of the Wehrmacht and the Luftwaffe, this is the reborn first true aircraft carrier of the Fatherland, the would-be KMS Graf Zeppelin, who was salvaged and Gifted off the coast of Poland near Władysławowo as Amélie von Zeppelin in the late summer of 2012. Given that her namesake, the inventor of modern rigid airships General der Kavallerie ("Cavalry General", equal to a lieutenant general in the English/American system) Ferdinand, Graf von Zeppelin (1838-1917), was descent of a family which founded the imperial life of the Duchy of Württemberg, Amélie was accorded the honorific "Reichsgräfin" (Imperial Countess); this implies a female relative of a count who possesses imperial immediacy (a direct link to the Emperor). And while such was downgraded to simply "Graf" (Count) by the time Ferdinand was born, it was decided that Amélie would represent the WHOLE of the Zeppelin family, hence the honorary appointment as "Reichsgräfin". Her salvage and Gifting came about thanks to a small magical enclave of dragons and forest elves which live in a secluded location on the Hel Peninsula dividing the Baltic Sea from the Bay of Gdańsk. Immediately befriending the woefully inexperienced shipgirl (given that Amélie was never commissioned, she only had a caretaker engineer crew aboard her when she was shuttled from place to place while the government tried to decide what to do with her), the leaders of the cove began to teach her about things she would never have realized had she possessed a full crew. And it was just in time, too; Amélie's salvage/Gifting occured at the start of the "extreme shipgirls" incident where elements of the Marvel Universe intruded on the universe of The End of the Circus. The enclave near Władysławowo was attacked by agents of Hydra, which prompted Amélie to charge across the dimensions to hunt them down. She was quite successful, culling dozens of the infamous "Auferstehungs Corps" (Resurrection Corps) of undying warriors meant to keep the original pro-Nazi Hydra dream alive. After that was done, Amélie returned to the enclave, feeling as she had no home in Germany. She would eventually be found by Luisa von Bismarck (DMS Bismarck); by then, Amélie had been joined by the reborn destroyers Lieselotte Maaß (DMS Leberecht Maass, née KMS Z1) and Melanie Schultz (DMS Max Schultz, née KMS Z3). Both would then pitch in on the drive to force off the Oni and their allies from Earth during the "second tag race" incident partially provoked by the Yaminokuni as seen in the first main story of TEOTC. On being allowed to join the Bundeswehr properly, Amélie was accorded the junior-most officer rank of Leutnant zur See ("Lieutenant at Sea"), the equivalent of a USN ensign or RN/RCN acting sub-lieutenant. Atop her normal FISS-type and energy projection powers, Amélie also can telekinetically manipulate hydrogen gas.
