(LORE) Miristenia, member of the Red Diadems

Miristenia was originally a servant who worked for an aristocratic family in the Lerguios region of Arcadia. Her family had worked for this household for generations: House Hertas, a noble family associated with the manufacture of luxury goods intended for Arcadia’s high society. After a controversial and tragic incident involving one of her sisters, she decided to actively fight against the privileges of the nobility, in her own words, so that the injustice her sister suffered would never happen to another commoner. She was drawn to the ideals of the Red Diadems, although it did not take her long to realise that there was much darkness within the organisation, and that in many cases its cruelty was not entirely compatible with the ideals she herself defended. She did not allow herself to be consumed by resentment or an intense hatred of the nobility as a whole. She considers nobles to be trapped by the shackles of a tradition that, in many cases, can be harmful not only to commoners, but to the nobles themselves. She is a calm and gentle woman. Her kindness, good manners, respect, and training in aristocratic etiquette make her stand out considerably from much of the rest of the Red Diadems. She is humble and helpful, with a great deal of patience. Paradoxically, despite belonging to a revolutionary organisation, she prefers harmony within the group rather than tumultuous change. She sees the same arrogance and presumptuousness among the higher ranks of the Diadems as she does among the nobility, but considers the organisation a necessary evil for creating a fairer society. Whenever something can be resolved through dialogue or by avoiding violence, she prefers that approach, even if it makes things more complicated, rather than seeking quick and violent solutions. Since she used to accompany a noble on hunting trips in the forests, she is familiar with and skilled in the use of a bow. Within the Red Diadems cell, she is responsible for diplomacy, negotiations, and coordinating with other cells. She is also responsible for maintaining organisational discipline and has the most direct correspondence with the higher-ranking groups. As for her relationship with the rest of the group, she considers Yorio a very capable man and a great warrior, but one who is too impulsive and easily influenced. She does not get along very well with Pirla. She and Corteza respect one another, although she considers him not to take his responsibilities as a member of the organisation seriously enough. She considers Ficlas a rather mysterious and composed man. She sometimes helps him with his household chores. She believes there may be much more behind his simple demeanour, and he has proven to be remarkably efficient in everything he has set out to do.
