A Knight's Promise

“I once believed that strength meant never wavering. That a blade should cut through doubt as easily as it cuts through steel. But the longer I walked this path, the more I learned that true resolve is not the absence of uncertainty. It is the courage to keep moving forward despite it. The butterflies dance freely upon the wind, untouched by duty or destiny. And yet, as I watch them soar, I find comfort in their flight. Because even the smallest wings can carry a heart toward the light. So I will hold my sword high. Not for glory. Not for praise. But for the future I chose to protect.”
