On the right, the attacking woman lunges forward with her leading combat boot planted firmly on the floor, shifting her full torso weight into a lethal thrust; her right gloved hand drives the steel combat knife directly into the other woman's left shoulder just below the collarbone, while her left hand braces hard against the victim's upper chest to pin her in place. Her dark ponytail snaps through the air behind her, her expression fiercely locked in cold, narrowed-eyed focus. The stabbed woman reels violently backward on the left, her spine arching as her boots skid across the concrete and her back knee buckles under the kinetic shock; her head tilts up in sheer agony, brow tightly furrowed and teeth bared in an intense, open-mouthed grimace of overwhelming pain. Her own left hand frantically grips the attacker's wrist in a failing attempt to dislodge the blade, her fingernails digging into leather. Deep crimson blood immediately soaks outward from the puncture site, dark liquid rapidly bleeding radially through the textured weave of her torn field jacket and casting fine droplets along the trajectory of the strike. Harsh, cool fluorescent light from high above rakes across their forms, casting hard-edged drop shadows across the scuffed, debris-littered floor and glinting off the exposed knife guard. Raw tension and visceral brutality.
