A breeze slipped through the treetops, carrying a faint scent of flowers, and the whole courtyard seemed wrapped in a soft golden glow. In the center of the garden bloomed a wide cluster of flowers, white, pink, pale purple, and blue blossoms growing side by side and swaying lightly in the wind. The grass spread out in a soft carpet of green, and now and then a few butterflies drifted past the flowers. Kamui Galuri and her younger sister, Kamui Galuna, were playing in the garden. Galuri sat on the grass with a small picture book in her hands, though she wasn't really reading it. Every so often she looked up to watch her sister busily moving about near the flowers. Galuna seemed especially energetic today. She was crouched in a patch of tiny blossoms, carefully choosing flowers. "This one... no, it's too short." She picked up a pale purple flower, looked at it from side to side, then gently put it back. "This one's good." Then she picked a few white flowers as well. Galuri watched her curiously. For a moment, Galuri said nothing. The afternoon wind passed through the garden, and petals drifted lightly down. She reached out and pulled her sister into her arms. "Thank you, Galuna." "Hehe..."
