Neville Franklin Longbottom The other would-be "prophecy child" which could have been targetted by Lord Voldemort on Hallowe'en evening in 1996, this is Neville Longbottom after he was Gifted as the Master of Plants, Vinclozolin. A top-level chlorokinetic atop being magical - and in this case, he doesn't use his father's wand as his counterpart in the Harry Potter novels did for the first five years of his schooling - he was yet another young British pre-teen who was rescued by Moroboshi Tariko during her great casting drive; in this case, Tariko saved him from cracking his head on hard pavement when his uncle tried to scare the magic out of him. And then, much to the despair of Leno Lu'umlo (Millennium), Neville became the third known heel of the current generation who became an anti-face. He would play a strong part in the campaign Isaac Thomas (Doctor Renaissance) launched on Remnant against the Grimm. With his knowledge of mesonium-influenced growth - and being unable to avoid SMELLING the naquadah-influenced sludge where the dark creatures often rose even in "safe" territory - Neville would arrange for the transfer of several plant types to the third world of Oum, ensuring that Vale City and Patch Island (at first) were protected from Salem's forces in the wake of the Battle of Beacon. Unknown to almost everyone, Neville also made use of his considerable knowledge to help cure his parents Frank and Alice from the prolongued Cruciatus exposure they endured in the wake of Voldemort's downfall thanks to Bellatrix Lestrange. Of course, wanting to keep is true power a secret, Neville snuck in a pair of plant-grown biodroid replicas of his parents while he wisked the real people off to his family home outside Bournemouth where he could cure them and help them recover. He intends to be in on the final kill when it comes to Voldemort and his Death Eaters...and he has something VERY special planned for someone that is quite precious to the Dark Lord. As to what will happen...that is another story.
