On the left, the boy—with spiky jet-black hair and warm brown eyes—shifts his weight forward onto one planted boot, swinging his arm through an enthusiastic underhand throw that launches a flurry of dry amber and burnt-orange leaves into the air. He wears a warm autumn zip-up jacket layered over a thick sweater, durable trousers, and sturdy walking shoes, his face split into a broad, joyful grin fixed directly on his friend. Facing him on the right, the girl—with rich dark skin, expressive ember eyes, and enormous, voluminous long purple hair tumbling around her shoulders—twists sideways on the balls of her boots to dodge, raising both hands to fling a wide arc of golden-yellow leaves right back at him, her mouth open in bright laughter. A flurry of crisp leaves hangs suspended between them mid-flight, their brittle edges and scattered dry flecks catching the low late-afternoon sun that slants through a canopy of amber and blazing orange trees. Long, sharp shadows stretch forward across the thick, rustling carpet of fallen foliage beneath their feet, while the warm golden backlighting edges their silhouettes, clothing folds, and the airborne leaves with a vibrant amber glow. Carefree and exuberant.
