View detailsThe Songstress's Final Slumber - Vocaloid 神威x巡音
💜💗💜💗💜 Story 💗💜💗💜💗 Luka's consciousness gradually began to fade. She was still resting in Gakupo's arms, listening to the familiar sound of his heartbeat. Sunlight fell gently upon them from outside the sanctuary, while birdsong and the sound of wind passing through the trees drifted from afar, as though the entire world were celebrating its rebirth after the catastrophe. Yet, to Luka, those sounds were gradually becoming distant. She struggled to open her eyes, wanting to see Gakupo's face clearly one more time, but everything before her had begun to blur. She blinked, trying to focus, yet his familiar purple silhouette still seemed to be hidden behind a thin veil of mist. “Gakupo...” She called his name softly. “I'm here, Luka.” Gakupo immediately lowered his head and tightened his hold on her hand. “I'm right here. Whatever you want to say, I'll listen.” Luka looked at him, her lips moving slightly as though she wanted to say something. However, she paused for a long moment, exhausted beyond words. Gakupo did not rush her. He simply brushed his thumb gently over the back of her hand before carefully arranging the pink strands of hair that had fallen beside her cheek. “Take your time. There's no hurry.” He tried to keep his voice steady, as though being gentle enough might allow her to feel safe and continue speaking. Luka nodded faintly. “I think... I'm getting a little sleepy.” Those words made Gakupo's heart sink. He knew she was terribly exhausted, yet he still could not accept that her voice was gradually growing weaker. “Then rest against me for a while.” He lowered his head and gently kissed her forehead. “You don't have to force yourself. It's all right if you want to close your eyes. I'll keep holding you.” Luka gazed at him quietly. “But... I still want to look at you.” Gakupo's eyes immediately filled with tears. He raised his hand and tenderly caressed her cheek, his thumb gently wiping away the tears that had not yet dried at the corner of her eye. “Then look at me a little longer.” He curved his lips into a faint smile, offering her the expression she knew best. “I'm right here. I'm not going anywhere.” Luka tried to smile back at him. As she gazed at his familiar face, she suddenly remembered so many moments from long ago. She remembered the hand Gakupo had extended toward her when they first met. She remembered the joy in his eyes when they had first succeeded in making magic resonate with music. She remembered the countless journeys they had taken together, talking about their dreams beneath the stars and sharing smiles over the smallest, most insignificant things. She had once believed she was merely a traveler who had arrived in this world by chance. It was only after meeting Gakupo that she understood how even an unfamiliar world could become a warm and welcoming place because of one person's presence. And what she treasured most was never how much magic she had learned, nor the fact that she had become the Songstress who saved the world. It was that she had met him during this journey. “Gakupo...” “Hmm?” “Thank you for coming into my world.” Gakupo was slightly taken aback. Luka gently held his hand, her voice weak but still determined to make every word clear. “I used to think... that someday, I would find a way to return home to my original world.” She paused to catch her breath. “But eventually, I started finding it difficult to leave.” Gakupo listened silently, tears finally slipping down his cheeks. “Because you were here.” Luka gazed at him, her blue eyes reflecting his image. “I loved traveling with you. I loved listening to you play the piano. I loved turning around and finding you always there beside me... I even loved the way you would smile and tell me not to be afraid, even when I knew you were worried about me.” Her voice gradually grew softer. “So I'm truly happy... that I came to this world.” Gakupo held her hand tightly, lowered his head, and pressed her fingertips against his lips. “Luka, thank you.” His voice finally trembled. “Thank you for coming into my world and allowing me to meet you.” He had once believed that as long as he was strong enough, he could protect everything he cherished. He had trained in swordsmanship, learned to fight, and worked hard to become someone others could rely on. He had once thought that if he stood firmly enough and traveled far enough, he could shield the people who mattered to him from every danger. Then he met Luka. She taught him that protection was not only about drawing a sword and confronting an enemy. It could also mean quietly keeping someone company, holding their hand when they were afraid, or allowing them to rest against his shoulder when they were tired. She taught him that he, too, could be needed. That he, too, could be loved deeply. And now, she was still in his arms. Yet, for the first time in his life, he felt utterly helpless. “I love you, Luka.” At last, Gakupo spoke the feelings he had kept hidden deep within his heart. “Not because you're the Songstress. Not because you saved this world. Not even because fate brought us together.” He gently stroked her hair, resting his forehead against hers. “I love you simply because you're Luka. Because you smile, because you feel sad, because you stop and pull me along whenever you see beautiful scenery, and because when I'm unhappy, you quietly stay beside me, pretending you haven't noticed anything at all.” He drew a breath, struggling to finish what he wanted to say. “I love every part of you. From the moment we first met to every journey we've taken together, and every word you've ever said to me.” Luka listened quietly. Her tears fell silently, yet a tender smile appeared on her lips. “I love you too... Gakupo.” At last, she gave him her answer. “I love you... so much.” Gakupo closed his eyes and gently drew her into his embrace. For a moment, it felt as though he had returned to one of the nights they had shared during their journey. Back then, they had not known that the world would face its end, nor had they needed to bear the burden of saving everyone. Luka would simply rest her head against his shoulder and listen as he played an unfinished melody. When the final note faded, he would turn toward her and ask whether she liked it. She would always smile and say yes. Then she would ask him to play it again. If only he could return to those nights. There would be no prophecy, no sacrifice, and no final song they were forced to perform. Only the two of them. And a melody they could take their time finishing together. “Gakupo...” Luka called his name once more. “I'm here.” “If... we can meet again...” She paused, as though even thinking had become difficult. Gakupo immediately lowered his head, bringing his ear closer to her. “We will meet again.” His answer came quickly, as though he had already engraved those words deep within his heart. Luka opened her eyes slightly. “Really?” “Really.” Gakupo held her hand and looked at her with complete sincerity. “No matter how long I have to wait, no matter how far I have to travel, I'll find you again.” His tears fell onto their joined hands. He no longer tried to hide his sorrow. “This time, I'll be the one to find you. Just as you once came into my world, I'll find a way to reach you, no matter where you are.” Luka gazed at him quietly. Her blue eyes had gradually lost their focus, yet she still struggled to make out his features. “Then... you have to remember...” “I will remember.” “Remember our promises... and our song...” “I remember everything.” Gakupo nodded gently. “I'll remember the flowers you love, the sound of your singing, and the smile on your face when you first succeeded in using magic. I'll remember the sea we promised to visit, the forest filled with white flowers, and the melody we haven't finished.” He paused, pressing her cold hand against his cheek. “I won't forget a single thing.” The corners of Luka's lips lifted slightly. “That's good...” It seemed that at last, she had let go of her final worries. Gakupo kissed her forehead once more. “You've worked so hard, Luka.” He spoke softly. “Thank you for saving this world, and thank you for allowing me to be your lover.” His palm gently stroked the crown of her head. “But to me, you've never been just the Songstress who saved the world. You're the person I love most, the person I wanted to hold hands with and walk toward the future.” His voice grew softer. “So you don't have to do anything else now. You've already done enough. You can finally rest.” Luka leaned against his chest and slowly closed her eyes. Her breathing gradually became steady, and the hand that had been holding his so tightly began to relax. Gakupo lowered his head and watched her, gently stroking her hair. “Luka?” He called her name softly. She did not answer again. She simply rested peacefully in his arms, as though she had finally found a place where she could rest without fear after a long and exhausting journey. Gakupo did not move immediately. He only held her a little tighter, allowing her head to rest in the warmest place against him. Then he lowered his head and pressed a lingering kiss into her hair. “Sleep, my Luka.” His voice was tender and hoarse. “This time, let me be the one to watch over you.” Sunlight streamed through the sanctuary's shattered dome, quietly illuminating their intertwined figures. Gakupo gazed at the woman in his arms. Tears continued to fall, yet he no longer tried to call her back. He simply held her, gently stroking her hair again and again, as though he could preserve all the years they had spent together within the palm of his hand. After a long while, he slowly raised his head. His violet eyes were still filled with sorrow, but there was also a determination that refused to surrender. “Luka.” He called her softly. “We will definitely meet again.” He placed her hand against his chest, allowing the heartbeat she had once known so well to seem as though it could still accompany her. “This isn't goodbye.” He took a deep breath and lowered his head to kiss her forehead. “Our story has simply paused here for a little while.” He continued holding her without letting go. And in that very moment, the sounds of life returned to the world outside the sanctuary. Birds sang among the branches, rivers began to flow once more, and distant towns echoed with the joyful cries of people who had survived the catastrophe. The world had been saved. Yet Gakupo continued watching over his beloved, keeping in his heart every word left unspoken, every promise left unfulfilled, and the melody that had never found its ending. He believed that someday, they would meet again. Even if that day was still far away. Even if he had to walk through long years alone. He would remember her. He would remember her forever. The final piano note faded. The stage lights slowly dimmed, while Gakupo remained in the same position, holding Luka close and lowering his head to shelter her in his arms. No one in the theater immediately stood up. The audience gazed at the lovers resting together at the center of the stage. Some held the hands of the people sitting beside them tightly. Others lowered their heads to wipe away their tears. There were even people whose eyes had grown red from crying, yet who still could not bear to look away. When the final light went out, the curtains slowly descended. Only then did the audience seem to return from the tragic love story they had witnessed. Applause began to fill the theater. At first, there were only a few scattered claps. Then the sound gradually gathered into a thunderous, sustained ovation. Some people applauded while repeatedly wiping their eyes. Others could not help sharing their feelings with their friends, only to find their voices breaking as they spoke. In particular, Gakupo's final words, “We will definitely meet again,” had moved so many people that even after the curtains had completely closed, they still could not calm their emotions. They knew it was only a stage play. They knew the Songstress and the knight were merely characters portrayed by actors, and that the destruction and rebirth of their world were only parts of a theatrical performance. Yet when Gakupo caught Luka in his arms and whispered his love to her, the depth of his unwillingness to let her go felt so real that the audience almost forgot they were sitting in a theater. Behind the stage, Gakupo was still immersed in the emotions of the performance. He lowered his gaze to Luka in his arms and gently held her hand. Luka slowly opened her eyes. Their gazes met. She did not speak immediately. Instead, she looked at his reddened eyes and reached up to gently touch his cheek. “Gakupo.” She called him softly. “Hmm?” “We did a good job, didn't we?” Gakupo looked at her and finally could not help smiling. “Yes, we did.” He helped her sit up, but he did not immediately release her hand. “We did so well that I almost thought I'd truly lost you.” Luka's expression softened. “But I'm still here.” “Mm.” Gakupo gazed at her. “You're still here.” From the other side of the stage came a reminder from the staff that it was time to return for the curtain call. The two exchanged smiles, composed themselves, and walked toward the stage together. When the curtains rose again and the lights illuminated them, the theater immediately erupted into even louder applause. Many people in the audience still had red eyes. Luka looked at the audience members who had cried over their story, a gentle smile appearing in her eyes. Amid the applause, Gakupo quietly tightened his hold on her hand. Neither of them said anything more. The story of the Songstress and the knight had come to an end, but the story of Kamui Gakupo and Megurine Luka would continue. This time, they would not have to wait for the world to end, nor exchange their lives for the chance to meet again. They only needed to hold one another's hands and walk off the stage together. Toward a tomorrow that was still bright.

character: eren_yeager, mikasa_ackerman
Mikasa Ackerman and Eren Yeager are captured in the middle of a desperate ODM maneuver above a ruined city street, with Mikasa much closer to the camera and Eren cutting across the background at a different angle. Mikasa twists her entire body sideways as she launches past the viewer, one arm extended forward with a blade in hand while the other reaches back toward Eren. Her black hair whips violently across the frame and her red scarf streams far behind her in a long sweeping curve. Eren is several meters behind her, angled sharply in the opposite direction as his ODM cables stretch from his gear toward a damaged rooftop, his green jacket and hair blown backward by the speed of the maneuver.
The perspective is extremely dynamic: Mikasa's outstretched hand and blade are large in the foreground while her body rapidly narrows toward the center of the image. Eren appears smaller but perfectly clear behind her, creating a strong diagonal connection between them. Their ODM cables slice through the composition as thin steel lines, crossing the image at different angles and disappearing beyond the frame. One cable passes extremely close to the camera, creating a dramatic foreground line.
The ruined city beneath them is not shown as a wide landscape. Broken rooftops, shattered windows, hanging masonry, and fragments of brick rush diagonally through the lower portion of the composition, giving the impression of immense speed. Several pieces of debris are suspended around Mikasa and Eren, each frozen at a different distance from the camera. Dust catches the sunlight in thin atmospheric streaks.
Mikasa's Survey Corps uniform is sharply detailed and windswept, with the cropped brown jacket open over the fitted uniform, harness straps pulled taut across her body, white trousers, tall boots, and the Wings of Freedom insignia clearly visible. Eren wears his recognizable Survey Corps uniform and green jacket, with his harness, ODM equipment, and boots rendered with precise mechanical detail.
A subtle graphic-design layer is integrated into the composition without overpowering the action: Wings of Freedom emblem are overlaid across the sky, Thin white directional lines follow the trajectories of Mikasa and Eren, while small restrained military-style markings and typography sit along the edges of the frame. The graphic elements reinforce the movement rather than becoming random decoration.
The entire image is frozen at one extraordinary instant: Mikasa's scarf curves through the air, Eren's jacket flares behind him, cables are pulled completely taut, debris hangs in the air, dust streams diagonally through the sunlight, and both characters are caught at different points of the same sweeping maneuver. Nothing feels static.
Painterly digital anime illustration, expressive textured brushwork, cinematic motion frozen in a single frame, extreme wide-angle perspective, dramatic foreshortening, strong diagonals, layered depth, detailed characters, flowing hair and fabric, taut cables, airborne debris, warm sunlight cutting through cool gray ruins, muted military colors with Mikasa's red scarf as the strongest accent, sophisticated composition, subtle graphic design, powerful silhouettes, intense expressions, visceral sense of speed, beautiful atmospheric lighting, energetic, cinematic
