Tenhiro Haruka AKA Fauchard

The German-born would-be yamato nadeshiko of Moroboshi Tariko's half-sisters, this is Tenhiro Haruka; in kanji, her name is written 天広 春歌 (the family name coming from the famous artist of the Sister Princess visual novel series, Tenhiro Naoto). Born in Düsseldorf as the stepdaughter of a wandering martial arts master and his housewife, Haruka would lose the latter due to a house fire, but would remain bound to the former until her Gifting; like the other sisters, she was secretly given powers with the efforts of Leno Lu'umlo (Millennium). Haruka would become Gifted as the Quarterstaff Mistress, Fauchard; she chose the French translation of the Yizibajohei term Kaeku due to the long influence of that particular nation upon the Rhur Valley area which was her home. An experienced empath with the ability to focus her ki into hardening the blade or other elements of any weapon she makes use of, Haruka's true gift was the two millennium's worth of battle experience she gained from her many past-selves. Given her personal quest to make herself the perfect Japanese woman even if she was German-born and German-raised, Haruka nominally uses a specially-constructed naginata in battle; she also has a gunsen (metal war fan) for more close-quarters defence. When it came time for the sisters to finally come together to be with Tariko, much had changed. To the sisters' total delight, Tariko now had an effective twin brother in Moroboshi Ataru (later Rake) thanks to an incident with an alien candy and a cursed cake shortly after the Tag Race; the sisters would finally help him be Gifted during the would-be "second tag race" incident in November 2012 when Redet Lum and her friends were finally driven off Earth. In addition, thanks to another incident involving Haruka's beloved sister, she would gain another sister via cloning in Moroboshi Hiromi (later Slipstream), whom the sisters as a whole were happy to adopt as part of their overall family even if Hiromi herself resided in downtown Tomobiki to monitor the cruiser shipgirls deployed there to keep an eye on the aliens.
