Wow, part 14 was pretty emotional, right? I hope I was able to capture Mei-Lin's frustrations well enough. She really was trying to convince everyone that staying together would keep them safer, and she believe it herself when she paraphrased a line Addams said in Part 7 of "Welcome to Outlaw Country." Call back! 😄 Well, by the time I hit the Publish button and uploaded part 14, even I was feeling a little emotional, so I was thinking about how to take the edge off a bit. My brain decided to go a bit weird and the ending to Ghostbusters 2 came in my mind, where once the heroes defeated the evil painting spirit, the canvas now has an image of the heroes, dressed in ancient attire, posed around the baby they saved, like a Renaissance painting. The idea stuck with me, so I thought "what if I did a similar thing, with the story art for part 14? Well, this image is what you get, and I have to say, I think it came out great! We are approaching the end of the Camp Life chapter. I have the story art for the part 15 ready, and it will also introduce a new character: Militia Captain Matsuda (reference will be added in the comments section). I don't see the current chapter going past part 16 or 17, so the end is coming up. I'm not sure if I'm going to take a break and dabble in Waldenvale/other pursuits or keep going on with Outlaw Country. I have a good idea where I want the next chapter to go, so there's that...but I have no writing done. Hell, I have the image ready for the next story part, but no text for it! I really need to tone down my ambitions a bit 😅
