The wolf lies curled across cracked, moss-grown flagstones, its heavy lupine frame resting on its belly with front paws outstretched and head lowered peacefully, its eyes shut in calm rest. Tucked into the hollow of the beast's ribcage, the tiny imp leans her body firmly into the thick pelt; one small hand sinks deep into the wolf's dense grey guard hairs to anchor herself, while her cheek is pressed flat against the animal's warm side. Her mouth softens into a subtle, relaxed smirk, her visible crimson-and-gold eye half-closed in quiet comfort. An enormous, angular carved stone relic covers the upper left half of her face, its weathered geometric reliefs tilting downward against the wolf's fur, while voluminous, fiery orange hair spills out from beneath the stone and cascades across the wolf's shoulder. Where her torso and palm press into the wolf's side, the dense grey fur compresses and splays under her weight, visibly lifting and settling with the slow, rhythmic cadence of the beast's breathing. In the background, crumbling megalithic archways and fallen pillars fade into deep indigo shadows. The sole illumination is an ethereal cobalt-blue glow welling up from ancient subterranean cracks and glowing runic glyphs carved into the ruin's masonry, casting soft cyan highlights along the contours of the wolf's back, the edges of the stone helmet, and the drifting atmospheric dust motes. Peaceful intimacy.
