So last time I said I'd add a story after publishing, but I haven't found a way to actually edit the description. For some reason, I can edit tags though, which is.. Weird. Surprisingly limited for such a cool website. Either way, after Aqua, Kazuma had decided to go on yet another adventure. The group, or what's left of it, decided to use Megumin's Explosion to deal the final blow to someone as powerful as the Demon Lord's Generals. His power was magic increase, which had the unfortunate side effect of also increasing any incoming magical spell. This, of course, greatly enhanced the strength of Explosion, to such a degree that the blast was so much hotter than usual, that the heat burned everything in the immediate vicinity. Unprepared for this, Megumin stood at the usual distance, safe and far for her regular blasts. But this blast was enhanced too much, and the heatwave following the Explosion did not dissipate enough before it reached her. Taking the full power of her own Explosion magic, Megumin couldn't resist it. Being further away, Darkness could only protect Kazuma, shielding him from the blast with her own body. With her high resistance and quality armor, they at least managed to survive, but given the loss of their 2nd party member, perhaps it'd have been better if they hadn't...
