Liko & Dot Poolside Fun! (Pokémon Horizons)

I absolutely adore this shot of Liko and Dot from Pokémon Horizons enjoying a sunny day at the pool! Their swimsuits are adorable, and I love how Dot is striking that confident pose with her arms up. It really captures their unique friendship and charm. If you love these two as much as I do, please hit like, follow for more art, and let me know your thoughts in the comments!

In the center foreground, a girl with long brown hair, blunt bangs, and a small hair ribbon stands with both hands clasped behind the back of her head, elbows flared wide to the sides. This pose draws immediate and precise focus to her completely exposed, bare armpits, detailed meticulously from the smooth inner hollows of the axillae to the defined outer contours along the ribcage and latissimus, accentuated by clean, sharp shadow shapes beneath the raised arms. She wears a fitted dark navy school swimsuit, her face lit with a bright, confident smile that shows a single small fang at the corner of her lips, her brown eyes sparkling. Positioned closely behind her, a second girl with shaggy two-tone purple hair that partially veils her eyes leans forward mischievously over the brown-haired girl's shoulder. Her hands are thrust forward on both sides, fingers playfully wiggling and poised mere inches away from tickling the exposed armpits, her violet eyes gleaming with comedic intent. To the right, a third girl with short bluish-black hair, an upright cowlick, and a hairclip leans inward, watching the impending prank with wide, expressive turquoise eyes and an amused, open-mouthed grin. Both supporting girls also wear matching navy school swimsuits. The rendering features bold, clean line art and polished cel shading with strong separation between light and shadow, giving the characters solid three-dimensional volume and smooth, dimensional skin tones. High-angled sunlight cuts across the scene from upper clerestory windows, casting distinct geometric shadows on the pool deck and creating crisp specular highlights along the curves of their shoulders. A stray droplet of water slides down the brown-haired girl's upper ribcage, catching the light as a pinpoint glint. The background of tiled pool lanes and turquoise water recedes into a soft, atmospheric blur. Playful and radiant.
