The Snare of Ice and Flame - MyOC Galuda&Galuna

MyOC Kamui Galuna(็ฅžๅจใŒใƒซใƒŠ/ๅทก้ŸณใŒใƒซใƒŠ/Megurine Galuna)&Kamui Galuda (็ฅžๅจใ‚ฌใƒซใƒ€/ๅทก้Ÿณใ‚ฌใƒซใƒ€/Megurine Galuda) ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’œ Story ๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’— Morning at Hogwarts. Laughter and chatter drifted from the Gryffindor tower, while in the Ravenclaw common room, someone was already sitting by the window leafing through a thick book of magic. The castle seemed calm and secure in the morning light, as though the monster that had burst into the courtyard a few days earlier had been nothing more than a memorable accident. Kamui Galuda, however, did not think so. Ever since he and his sister Kamui Galuna had begun researching how different kinds of magic could work together, he had developed the habit of noting down any anomalous magic. That morning, on his way to the Charms classroom, he suddenly sensed an extremely faint ripple of magic pass by at the end of the corridor. The force was fleeting, but it stopped him in his tracks. "...Again?" He murmured to himself, took out his wand, and carefully felt for changes in his surroundings. Unlike the crude, chaotic magic the monster had given off last time, this ripple left almost no trace, as though something were deliberately concealing its presence. Galuda did not rashly chase after it. Instead, he first went to the Ravenclaw tower to find his sister, who was sorting through her research notes. "Galuna, do you have a moment?" Galuna looked up from among her books. Today she was studying a spell for identifying residual magic, and several tomes on tracking magic and ancient runes lay on her desk. "I do. What did you find?" Galuda told her what he had observed. When he finished, Galuna closed her book, her expression turning serious. "If the other party can deliberately hide its magic, then ordinary tracking charms might be useless. But anything that comes into contact with its surroundings will find it hard to leave no trace at all." She quickly gathered her notes and picked up her wand. "Let's go take a look." The two headed west along the corridor, passing several familiar portraits and going through the stone archway leading to the courtyard. Along the way, Galuna cast detection spells from time to time, watching for subtle changes in the magic in the air, while Galuda kept an eye out for anomalies in the walls, the floor, and the protective enchantments. It wasn't until they reached an old classroom that was rarely used that Galuna suddenly stopped. "It's in there." She pointed to the crack of the door. A wisp of nearly transparent black mist was flowing slowly along the doorframe. It had no fixed shape, sometimes gathering, sometimes dispersing, as though searching for a gap to slip through. Galuda glanced at his sister. "Looks like we'll have to try a different approach." "Don't go in yet." Galuna gently waved her wand, casting a protective charm around the two of them. "This magic changes direction as we approach. It may be able to sense us." The words had barely left her mouth when a sharp grating sound came from inside the classroom. The next moment, the heavy wooden door blasted outward. A huge black shadow shot out of the classroom, the rush of air sending dust from the corridor swirling upward. Its body seemed to be stitched together from countless black metal shards and shadows, its limbs long and slender, with several chain-like tentacles extending from its back. Its head had no clear features, only several silver runes flickering ceaselessly. Unlike the earlier monster that had wrecked the courtyard with brute force, this intruder was clearly more dangerous. It did not charge blindly. The instant it appeared, it released several wisps of black mist in all directions. The mist quickly clung to the walls and ceiling, forming a crisscrossing web that sealed off both ends of the corridor. Students' cries of alarm rang out from a distance. "There's something near the old classroom!" "Quick, go tell the professors!" Galuda immediately pointed his wand toward the other end of the corridor. "Protego!" A transparent protective barrier unfolded at once, holding the black mist at bay and buying the distant students time to evacuate. "Galuna, this opponent seems to make use of the magic around it," he said, watching the ever-shifting mist. "It may have more than one core." "I think so too." Galuna's expression remained calm; she even had the presence of mind to study the silver runes closely. "Those runes must be the key to how it maintains its form. As long as it keeps shifting position, it'll be hard for us to destroy all the runes at once." The shadow suddenly let out a low sound. The chains on its back rose together, and several black beams of light lashed at the siblings from different directions, so fast they were almost impossible to react to. But Galuda and Galuna did not panic. Galuda sidestepped the first attack, and his wand swept out a crisp arc. "Incendio!" Red-gold flames extended along the corridor, but just as they were about to touch the shadow, they suddenly split apart into several independent lines of fire. They did not attack the intruder directly; instead, they sealed off the paths it might take. Sure enough, the shadow changed direction, trying to escape through the gaps between the flames. But Galuna had long since been waiting on the other side. "Glacius!" Frost spread rapidly across the flagstones, precisely freezing the spot where the shadow was about to land. Several ice crystals rose at once, blocking its way forward and back. The intruder abruptly twisted its body, and the chains on its back lashed fiercely at the crystals. With a crash, the ice pillars shattered and the black mist spread again. But Galuna merely raised an eyebrow slightly. "As expected, simply restricting its movement isn't enough." Galuda looked at her. "Then let's try the method we researched a few days ago." "Just what I was thinking." The two raised their wands almost simultaneously. Galuda did not expand the flames again. Instead, he condensed them into several slender ribbons of light, forming steady currents of heat along both sides of the corridor. Galuna condensed layer upon layer of transparent ice crystals between the flames, arranging them like mirrors at different angles. The firelight fell on the surfaces of the crystals, refracting into crisscrossing lights and shadows. The shadow tried to scatter into mist again, only to find that every time it changed form, the ice crystals from different directions reflected faint traces of its magic. The silver runes that had been hidden within the black mist were revealed one after another. Galuna quickly pinpointed their positions. "Three on the left, two on the back, and one hidden near the chest!" The corners of Galuda's mouth lifted slightly. "That makes things much simpler." He swung his wand, and the flames immediately turned, closing in on the exposed runes one by one. Sensing danger, the intruder hurriedly recalled its chains, trying to shield its core. But Galuna had already frozen the ground completely. The shadow's movement was restricted, and its chains lagged half a beat behind, held back by the ice crystals. Galuda seized the opportunity and concentrated the flames near its chest. "Now!" Galuna immediately cast another freezing charm, and several sharp ice crystals rose from different directions. They did not strike the shadow directly, but precisely sealed off its avenues of retreat, forcing all of the runes to be exposed at once. Red-gold firelight and icy blue magic crisscrossed in midair. The two forces did not cancel each other out; under the siblings' precise control, they formed a tight net of containment instead. Galuda swung his wand once more. A concentrated blast of flame struck the silver rune on its chest. A crisp sound of shattering rang out. The intruder's movements halted instantly, the chains on its back lost their strength, and the black mist no longer surged under any control. Galuna immediately added a final freezing charm, sealing all the remaining runes inside transparent ice. The next second, the entire shadow began to disintegrate. The black metal shards turned into fine points of light, gradually dissipating into the air of the corridor. The black mist that had sealed off both ends retreated swiftly, the walls revealed their original stone color again, and the torches hanging on them returned to a steady glow. The whole battle ended faster than they had expected. Galuda put away his wand and looked down at his sister, who was entirely unharmed. "Are you all right?" "I'm fine." Galuna tucked her wand back into her robes, then looked at him. "And you?" "I'm fine." The two smiled at each other, both perfectly at ease. If the last monster had forced them to improvise on the spot, then this intruder had instead become the perfect subject on which to test the results of their research. They had not relied on a single powerful spell, but had combined observation, judgment, restriction of movement, and precise attacks to neatly defuse the opponent's endless tricks. "Looks like the experiments from the past few days weren't wasted," Galuda said. Galuna nodded lightly. "Especially the part about ice crystals refracting magic. I only meant to use it to observe how spells change, and never expected it could also be used to find hidden runes." "Then your research has gained a new direction." "Your fire control has improved too. In the past you might have just suppressed it with flame, but this time you kept the fire at different positions without damaging the corridor." Galuda smiled and accepted his sister's praise. "After all, we can't have the professors repairing the castle for us every time." Galuna couldn't help laughing. Just then, hurried footsteps came from the other end of the corridor. Several professors arrived at the scene, followed by a few staff members responsible for keeping the school safe. When they saw the undamaged corridor and the intruder already gone, surprise showed on all their faces. "You two dealt with it?" one of the professors asked. "Yes, Professor," Galuda answered politely. "The intruder has vanished, but we believe it's connected to the monster that appeared in the courtyard earlier." Galuna then added her own observations. "The silver runes on it share similar magical characteristics with the black metal fragment from before. I suspect these intruders are not naturally occurring, but are being controlled by some kind of force." The professors' expressions gradually grew grave. One of them began at once to examine the residual magic at the scene, while another notified the school to reinforce the protective enchantments throughout the castle. Galuda and Galuna stood to one side, explaining the details they had noticed during the fight one by one. By the time everything was settled, the setting sun outside the window had stained the high towers red. "Today's events will probably spread through the whole castle soon," Galuna said as she sorted her notes. Galuda smiled, unconcerned. "As long as no one got hurt." "You really don't care at all what others think of you." "We study magic to solve problems in the first place, not to be praised by others." Galuna looked at her brother's steady profile, a trace of soft amusement in her eyes. "That's very much like Father." "And you're very much like Mother." "Because I observe carefully?" "And because you always manage to notice the details others overlook at the most important moments." Galuna was momentarily taken aback, then turned her face away, pretending to check the notes in her hands again. "...You do say sensible things occasionally." Galuda gave a low laugh and didn't tease her any further. The two walked side by side toward the Great Hall, ready to enjoy a belated dinner. After they left, however, the professors found a small piece of silver metal at the spot where the intruder had vanished. Along its edge was engraved a set of fine runes, almost identical to those on the earlier fragment. More unsettling still, this time there was a new mark on the inside of the metal that had never appeared before. It was a symbol pointing toward the depths of Hogwarts Castle. As though these intruders had not come to destroy, but were searching for something hidden within the castle. Meanwhile, Galuda and Galuna, who had already walked into the Great Hall, were eating dinner while discussing their next magical experiment. They were full of confidence in their abilities, yet that did not make them stop exploring. For this remarkable pair of siblings, what was truly exciting had never been defeating enemies, but discovering new principles of magic each time they faced the unknown, and turning problems that had once been difficult into challenges that could be solved, together. What trial the next intruder would bring, they did not yet know. But at least this time, the corridors of Hogwarts held the sight of two young wizards walking calmly away. ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’œ OC information ๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’— Kamui Gakupo and Megurine Luka's first child Name: Kamui Galuda (็ฅžๅจใ‚ฌใƒซใƒ€/ๅทก้Ÿณใ‚ฌใƒซใƒ€/Megurine Galuda) Age: 16 Birthday:3/30 Personality: Calm, strong, dark side, protective Appearance: Short purple hair, slightly messy, exuding a cool and powerful aura. character: eren_yeager, mikasa_ackerman character: eren_yeager, mikasa_ackerman Mikasa Ackerman and Eren Yeager are captured in the middle of a desperate ODM maneuver above a ruined city street, with Mikasa much closer to the camera and Eren cutting across the background at a different angle. Mikasa twists her entire body sideways as she launches past the viewer, one arm extended forward with a blade in hand while the other reaches back toward Eren. Her black hair whips violently across the frame and her red scarf streams far behind her in a long sweeping curve. Eren is several meters behind her, angled sharply in the opposite direction as his ODM cables stretch from his gear toward a damaged rooftop, his green jacket and hair blown backward by the speed of the maneuver. The perspective is extremely dynamic: Mikasa's outstretched hand and blade are large in the foreground while her body rapidly narrows toward the center of the image. Eren appears smaller but perfectly clear behind her, creating a strong diagonal connection between them. Their ODM cables slice through the composition as thin steel lines, crossing the image at different angles and disappearing beyond the frame. One cable passes extremely close to the camera, creating a dramatic foreground line. The ruined city beneath them is not shown as a wide landscape. Broken rooftops, shattered windows, hanging masonry, and fragments of brick rush diagonally through the lower portion of the composition, giving the impression of immense speed. Several pieces of debris are suspended around Mikasa and Eren, each frozen at a different distance from the camera. Dust catches the sunlight in thin atmospheric streaks. Mikasa's Survey Corps uniform is sharply detailed and windswept, with the cropped brown jacket open over the fitted uniform, harness straps pulled taut across her body, white trousers, tall boots, and the Wings of Freedom insignia clearly visible. Eren wears his recognizable Survey Corps uniform and green jacket, with his harness, ODM equipment, and boots rendered with precise mechanical detail. A subtle graphic-design layer is integrated into the composition without overpowering the action: Wings of Freedom emblem are overlaid across the sky, Thin white directional lines follow the trajectories of Mikasa and Eren, while small restrained military-style markings and typography sit along the edges of the frame. The graphic elements reinforce the movement rather than becoming random decoration. The entire image is frozen at one extraordinary instant: Mikasa's scarf curves through the air, Eren's jacket flares behind him, cables are pulled completely taut, debris hangs in the air, dust streams diagonally through the sunlight, and both characters are caught at different points of the same sweeping maneuver. Nothing feels static. Painterly digital anime illustration, expressive textured brushwork, cinematic motion frozen in a single frame, extreme wide-angle perspective, dramatic foreshortening, strong diagonals, layered depth, detailed characters, flowing hair and fabric, taut cables, airborne debris, warm sunlight cutting through cool gray ruins, muted military colors with Mikasa's red scarf as the strongest accent, sophisticated composition, subtle graphic design, powerful silhouettes, intense expressions, visceral sense of speed, beautiful atmospheric lighting, energetic, cinematic
