At that time, the Tenduā were nomadic people but quite willing to adopt technology when given to it by the industrious castorid builders. Some Tenduā did come into contact with the Federation through Tellarite traders beforehand, many of whom would join Starfleet and excel in many departments, especially security. New Westminster took on said form to salute the small pride of Tenduā who settled in the British Columbia lower mainland after both they and the Amishk joined the Federation. Her service in Starfleet was normal for a sixth-generation Port Weller girl, surviving the Dominion War and Frontier Day without much issue.
