On the left, the blonde is caught mid-sneak: knees deeply bent, weight loaded onto her front foot with her rear heel lifted so only the toe of one chunky sneaker touches the floor, her torso pitched forward over the chair back, ponytail swinging out behind her shoulder from the lunge. Her open white mechanic's lab coat flares back off her hips, sleeves shoved to the elbows, black crop top and black booty shorts stark beneath it; her green eyes are wide and bright, one brow hiked, a huge mischievous grin pulling her mouth wide with a glint of teeth, gaze locked down onto the seated woman's ribs. Both her hands have darted around the chair's sides and past the waistband of the black miniskirt, fingertips digging and wiggling into the seated woman's sides and ribs, the contact point bursting with short radiating comic poke-lines in white and yellow. On the right, the black-haired woman spazzes mid-squeal in her wheeled office chair: spine bowed hard backward over the seat back, long flowing black hair whipping up and out, black-framed glasses knocked crooked so one lens rides high on her brow, black sleeveless crop top twisting with the arch, one leg kicking straight out from under the short black miniskirt with the black heel angled at the lens, both hands flung up off the keyboard with fingers splayed, a huge red laughter anger vein pulsing on her forehead, eyes squeezed half-shut, mouth wide open, a hot blush across her cheeks. The chair has rolled back a few centimetres from the desk, its casters skewed on the floor. A jagged speech bubble with spiked edges bursts from her face, tail pointing at her open mouth, the lettering bold and wobbly with laughter and reading "S-SALLY!! HYAHAHA I'M WORKIIING!!". Her monitor on the desk still displays a spreadsheet grid of tickle-test data, rows and columns of numbers legible as a grid with one highlighted cell; beside the keyboard her coffee mug rocks on its base, a dark ring of spilled coffee sliding across the desk surface and one ripple shivering on the surface inside the rim. The desk holds scattered tools and rolled blueprints, workbenches recede along the walls with clamps, wrenches and pinned schematic sheets, and in the deep background the retracted 10 Ten Tickler 2000 machine sits quiet under a dust sheet edge, its name stencilled in block caps across its housing. High on the back wall the "Laughter Factory Labs" neon sign glows, its magenta-purple tubes throwing a soft spill onto the wall panel and a faint violet rim onto the tops of both women's hair, while overhead teal strip lights flood the room cold and green from above, leaving purple shadow pooled under the desks and in the far corners. The palette is held to teal, purple, black and white with warm skin and one hot red for the anger vein. Sharp defined outlines with bold, high-contrast flat color shading and a vivid palette. Frantic, gleeful.
