The environment is empty and black, with no floor detail beyond a faint low sheen registering her dropped shoulder and the smear of heat beneath her. The only light comes from her own failing body: amber and white-hot glow from the circuitry, blue-white electric arcs spitting off the joints, and the sparks that fly up in a fan echoing the direction of her thrown arm. That glow is the sole source, so it lights the underside of her chin, her throat, the insides of her curled fingers and the torn white fabric from beneath, and leaves the top of her head, the far side of her face and everything beyond her in total darkness. Sparks bounce off her shoulder plate and skitter away, each leaving a pinprick of light that fades before it lands. Palette held to the black void, the scorched white and graphite of the suit, and the amber-to-blue-white of the failing machinery; no other hue enters. Moody, catastrophic.
