Marie Rose's Dreamy Day Off! 💤

I simply can't get enough of Marie Rose from Dead or Alive—she always brings such a perfect mix of sweet and playful vibes to every scene. This cozy bed illustration captures her softer, more relaxed side that I just love to see. If you adore her as much as I do, please give this a like and follow for more content! I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments below~

character: marie_rose 1girl, solo, marie_rose, lying on bed, on back, laid out, bikini, frilled bikini, black bikini, twintails, blonde hair, long hair, blue eyes, x hair ornament, black ribbon, hair ribbon, arms up, above head, wrists crossed, head tilted back, looking at viewer, half-closed eyes, light smile, from above, foreshortening, overhead light, white bedsheet, rumpled sheets, pillow, intimate, soft light, warm lamp glow, shallow depth of field Seen from directly above, her whole body laid out flat along the bed's diagonal: she lies on her back with the crown of her head near the bottom of the frame and her hips toward the top, the foreshortened line of her body running toward the lens. The mattress gives under her shoulders, hips and heels — four shallow depressions, the sheet creased outward in soft ridges and bunched at the corners, one fold pushed into a peak beside her hip. Her hair fans out across the pillowless white sheet in two long blonde tails that spread to the left and right of her head, still tied with black ribbons and each held by a small x-shaped ornament at the crown; several loose strands curl over the sheet and stick where the cotton has damped. Both arms are raised and bent above her head, wrists crossed lightly, elbows softly out, the backs of her hands resting on the sheet with fingers loosely curled — no gloves; her bare shoulders and bare collarbones are exposed, the frilled bikini top's black fabric rucked across her chest with one pale frill slightly lifted, and the matching bottoms tied low at each hip, a bow knot resting on her left hip. Her feet are together near the upper edge of frame, knees fallen slightly to her right so the line of her thighs tilts. Her chin is tipped back and her eyes look straight up at the lens under half-lowered lids, a faint closed-lip smile, one corner raised a little more than the other; her chest rises once, catching the top's frill. A single warm overhead lamp is the only light: it pools on her forehead, shoulders, chest, hip bone and the tops of her thighs, and the bed's expanse darkens outward into the bottom corners of frame; her shadow lies directly under and slightly behind her, soft, falling onto sheets that are already creased. Palette: white sheet, warm amber skin light, black bikini fabric and black ribbon, blonde — nothing else admitted. Quiet, inviting.
