Hyuna & Luka from ALNST – Back-to-Back Serenity

There's something so quietly beautiful about this moment between Hyuna and Luka from Alien Stage, sitting back-to-back in the soft grass with flowers in hand. I've always been drawn to the contrast between Luka's composure and Hyuna's warmth, and this gentle outdoor scene captures both of them so tenderly. If this piece resonates with you, please leave a like, follow for more, and share your thoughts in the comments — I'd love to hear which Alien Stage character steals your heart!

character: hyuna_(alien_stage), luka_(alien_stage), copyright: alien_stage 1girl, 1boy, 2girls? no, two characters, hyuna \(alien stage\), luka \(alien stage\), dark-skinned female, dark skin, brown hair, long hair, very long hair, grey eyes, blonde hair, short hair, very short hair, yellow eyes, colored eyelashes, white shirt, long sleeves, white pants, hair flower, yellow flower, holding flower, flower over mouth, arm up, closed eyes, smile, open mouth, looking at another, sitting, on ground, on grass, outdoors, grass, from side, profile, dutch angle, cowboy shot, A low, tilted camera sits close to the grass, looking slightly up and across at two figures seated on the ground with their shoulders turned toward each other, the frame cropping both of them at the knees. On the right, the dark-skinned girl with very long brown hair spilling loose over her back and shoulders and a grey eye half-lidded in a wide, open-mouthed laugh sits with her weight rolled onto her left hip, one knee pulled up, the other leg folded flat under it; her right arm is lifted high and out, elbow bent, hand curled loosely against the sky, and her left hand carries a single yellow flower whose stem is pinched between thumb and forefinger so the bloom is raised to her lips, the petals resting across her mouth and hiding the lower half of her open smile. Down her bangs and along her upper lashes the colored eyelashes read as a soft tinted fringe catching the sun; a small yellow flower is tucked into the hair above her ear. On the left, the pale boy with very short blonde hair sits facing her in profile, both knees drawn up with his forearms resting on them, the white long sleeves of his shirt pooling at his wrists, his white pants pale against the green; his eyes are closed, lashes lowered and tinted, and one hand holds a second yellow flower loosely at chest height, its stem between two fingers. He leans in a fraction toward her, chin tipped up, so that his closed eyes face the sound of her laugh. The two of them do not touch; the space between their shoulders is a hand's width of sunlit air, and her gaze goes sideways over the flower to his face while his face angles to her without opening. Behind them a shallow field of grass runs to a soft blurred treeline, with a few out-of-focus stems crossing the lower foreground; the light comes low from the left as the only source, warm and raking, so it edges her raised arm and the flower petals in gold, lights the boy's cheek and the white of his shirt, and leaves their far sides and the trampled grass beneath them in cool green shade. A pale ring of flattened, bent grass circles the spot where they sit, the compressed blades springing back unevenly around their hips and feet. Palette is grass green, white, warm skin brown and a single saturated yellow repeating in the two flowers and the hair ornament. Rendered with clean cel-shaded linework, flat color and crisp shadow edges, sunlit and easygoing.
