1girl, solo, cowboy shot, from above, standing, leaning forward, asymmetrical bangs, medium hair, light orange hair, droopy eyes, brown eyes, long eyelashes, soft smile, closed mouth, looking down, slender, charcoal gray shorts, nylon shorts, black tights, semi-sheer tights, white crew socks, socks over tights, bare shoulders, khaki jacket, bomber jacket, jacket removal, holding jacket, laundry basket, woven basket, dressing room, night, indoors, window, cloudy night sky, pink and white room, washing machine, wooden shelves, detergent bottles, folded towels, potted plant, warm lighting, pastel palette, ultra-detailed background A high, slightly downward cowboy shot looking into the corner of a cozy pastel dressing room at night, framing one slender 21-year-old Japanese woman from mid-thigh to just above her head against the two walls that meet behind her. Her head is tipped down toward the basket at her hip, chin lowered so her droopy brown eyes with heavy long lashes look down into it rather than at the lens, and her soft closed-mouth smile sits just off-centre on her face. Medium-length light orange hair with sharply asymmetrical bangs -- the long side swept down across her left brow, the short side combed back off her right temple -- swings forward and hides her right eye's outer corner as she leans. She is caught mid-removal: both arms drawn out of the khaki bomber jacket, the hip-length jacket gathered in both fists and bunched at her lower back, already sliding off her shoulders so the collar drags down her back; beneath it her shoulders and upper back are bare. The jacket is collapsing in on itself as she stuffs its hem down into the small woven basket she holds braced against her left hip, her left forearm clamping the basket rim, right hand pushing the fabric through the loop of the handle. Her weight is on her right leg, left knee bent and turned slightly in, charcoal gray nylon shorts creasing at the hip, semi-sheer black tights darkening the skin beneath and catching a faint sheen down the front of her right thigh, white crew socks slouched loosely over the tights at her ankles with a soft bunch at the top edge. To her right, the modern washer-dryer sits as a rounded white drum-front unit with a dark glass door; above it wooden shelves hold cute detergent bottles in soft pastel colours and a stack of neatly folded pastel towels; a small green potted plant sits at the shelf's end, its leaves tipping toward the light. Behind her shoulder, the window shows an overcast night sky, cool and muted, the glass faintly reflecting the room's warm interior; the pane's frame casts a shallow cool-edge shadow on the sill. A single warm overhead fixture and the hidden glow of the room's ambient bulbs light her from above and slightly behind-left, sliding warm highlights along the khaki fabric, her shoulder blades and the sock bunches, while shadows pool under the basket, behind her knees and in the fold of the jacket. The light through the window is cool and dim, and where it hits the far edge of the basket it cools the woven strands against the warm room. Palette is pastel: soft pink and cream walls, warm wood and khaki midtones, light orange hair, charcoal and black legwear, and small green accents from the plant and bottles; the night window anchors the composition's cool blue. Fine fabric weave on the woven basket, nylon sheen on the shorts and the semi-sheer sheen over skin. Tender, quietly domestic.
