Sensei and Kei-chan sharing a quiet smoke break in front of the convenience store after a long day. Even without saying much, they both understand the unique weight and exhaustion the other is carrying—just a quiet moment of mutual comfort between the two. The cumulative weariness of endless tasks, and the unspoken pressures only the two of them understand. Under the convenience store lights, surrounded by drifting smoke, Sensei and Kei-chan exchange quiet, ordinary words. Through all the time they’ve spent together, their bond has deepened to a point where heavy explanations aren't needed—the weight and exhaustion they carry naturally surface in the small gaps between their words. No dramatic comforting, just a simple conversation. This low-key routine is the sanctuary they’ve built to survive another day together.
