character: acerola_(pokemon), copyright: pokemon_sm 1girl, solo, acerola (pokemon), pokemon sm, purple hair, short hair, topknot, flipped hair, ahoge, blue eyes, hairpin, hair ornament, armlet, on tatami, tatami floor, night, indoors, purple yukata, indigo leaf pattern, black leaf pattern, fallen yukata shoulders, open yukata top, indigo obi, small breasts, white bra, white tabi socks, black geta sandals, upper body, lying on back, on back, covering eyes with one hand, thighs together, relaxed pose, blush, shy face, smile, closed mouth, looking at viewer, one eye visible, arm up, head tilt, from above, foreshortening, warm lamplight, dark room From above, the camera looks down the length of a dim tatami room at night, tilted just enough that her body recedes toward the top of the frame while her face, her raised forearm and the spread collar of the yukata hold the near plane. She lies flat on her back across the tatami mats, spine along a seam, head pillowed on her own topknot near the lower third of the frame; the mats' woven green straw grain runs beneath her, its parallel edges taking the perspective and converging away from the lens. Her right arm is folded up over her brow, the back of the hand and wrist laid across her eyes so only the lower half of her face reads: a small closed-lip smile pushed slightly askew by the weight of her arm, and a hot blush spread across both cheeks and the bridge of her nose. Her left arm rests loosely out to the side, palm up, fingers relaxed and half-curled on the mat. Her purple hair spills out of the topknot in a short flipped bob, the ends flicking outward against the straw, a hairpin and a small hair ornament pinned at the knot; a thin armlet circles her upper arm. The purple yukata has slid off both shoulders and pooled open down the front, the fabric fallen to the upper arms and spread flat on the mat in two wings, so the indigo obi crosses her waist undisturbed and the white bra sits exposed at her chest, the collar edge lying just under the collarbones. The leaf pattern — indigo leaves and black leaves alternating in a scattered repeat — reads across the fallen shoulder panels, distorting where the cloth bunches at her elbows. The front panel of the yukata lies across her hips and pressed-together thighs, the two legs held close so the fabric folds in a single channel down the middle; her white tabi socks and black geta sandals sit at the far end of the frame, the geta's wooden teeth resting on the mat with the thong straps slack. A single paper-shaded lamp sits low beside the mat, off-frame to the left, and it is the only light source: it rakes in from the left, warming her right forearm, the near cheek, the shoulder panel and the white bra, and leaving the far side of her face, the underside of the fallen sleeve and the room beyond her in deep shadow, the darkness absolute past the lamp's pool. The light catches the woven grain of the tatami in fine parallel highlights and throws the geta's two-toothed shadow long and soft across the mat. Palette: the room's near-black brown, the muted green straw, and her purple, indigo and white with one thin line of warm amber from the lamp. Shy, tender.
