character: shigure_kai_san_(kancolle), tokitsukaze_(kancolle) 2girls, from behind, looking back, looking over shoulder, looking at viewer, smile, blush, old-fashioned blue school swimsuit, one-piece swimsuit, school swimsuit, medium breasts, swimming pool, water, outdoors, chain-link fence, day, short hair, black hair, hairband, mini hat, brown eyes, long hair, single braid, ahoge, brown hair, blue eyes, hair between eyes, standing in shallow water, wet hair, wet clothes, thigh gap, cowboy shot, dutch angle, over-the-shoulder composition A slightly tilted over-the-shoulder composition from behind: two girls stand knee-deep in a shallow outdoor pool, both seen from the back and turned over their shoulders toward the lens. On the left stands the shorter girl with short black hair and long side locks, a small dark mini hat and hairband perched on the back of her head, both hands pressed flat on the top rail of a chain-link fence that runs across the midground, her hip cocked so her weight rests on her right leg, torso twisted about ninety degrees to bring her brown eyes over her left shoulder straight into the camera; a lopsided closed-lip smile, one brow lifted, a warm blush spread wide across both cheeks. To her right and half a step deeper in the water stands the taller girl with long brown hair gathered into a single braid that falls forward over her right shoulder and a small ahoge lifting from her crown, the braid's tip dark and heavy with water; she turns her head further still so her blue eyes land on the viewer past the rise of her own shoulder, a fuller open smile showing a sliver of teeth, blush high on her cheekbones, one hand loose at her hip and the other trailing fingertips just off the fence mesh. Both wear the same old-fashioned blue school swimsuit — deep navy one-piece with a square neckline, short snug sleeves and a small pale name tag stitched high on the chest, the wet lycra clinging and darkening in vertical streaks where water runs down their sides, clung across medium chests and gathered in faint folds at the waist; a thin waterline cuts across both bodies at mid-thigh where the pool surface meets them. Water dominates the lower third: clear pale turquoise with the pool's tiled bottom showing through as soft wavering grid lines, and around each pair of legs a ring of concentric ripples runs outward, interrupting the fence's reflection into broken vertical slats. Behind them a chain-link fence with silver-grey diamond mesh and a top rail crosses the whole frame, its mesh softly out of focus where it passes nearest the lens, and beyond it a bright summer sky and the blurred pale deck edge. Strong midday sun from high behind the camera rakes across their shoulders and the backs of their arms, casts short hard shadows onto the water and throws a crisp diamond-lattice shadow from the fence down across their backs and thighs; the light strikes the nearer edges of their cheekbones where they turn to the viewer, and the water's caustics flicker only on their sunlit skin, not on the shaded under-curves. Palette of deep navy, pale turquoise, silver-grey and sunbleached white, with warm skin and brown hair; slim cel-shaded rendering, crisp linework, clean flat shading. Bright, teasing, sunlit.
