More to See

artist: ratatatat74 1girl, solo female figure, several desiccated male bodies lying on the floor in the background, fortified estate background, white outline, beautiful face, volumetric lighting, ominous lighting, depth of field, detailed shading, glowing amber eyes, soft wavy honey-blonde hair, loose curls over her shoulders, soft youthful gentle inviting expression, malevolent seductive look, succubus, small elegant antlers branching from her temples, thin tail ending in a tuft of soft fur, tiny fragile succubus wings, slender curvaceous hourglass build, wide hips, narrow waist, warm sun-kissed skin, soft flowing pale cream silk sundress, delicate gold anklets, simple thin leather collar, from below, dutch angle, looking down at viewer, head tilt, half-closed eyes, lopsided smirk, contrapposto, weight on one hip, hand at her collar, bare earlobes, bare wrists, upper body focus with full figure in frame, sharp cel-shading, high contrast, dramatic backlighting, rim lighting, vibrant accent colors, wide angle lens, cinematic perspective, moody atmosphere. Shot from below at a slight dutch tilt, the succubus fills the left two-thirds of the frame and stands over the camera on the flagstone floor of a fortified estate's great hall, so the viewer reads her from the hem of the pale cream silk sundress upward. Her weight sits on her right leg, left knee relaxed and turned inward, which throws her wide hips out to the right and pulls the narrow waist into a long diagonal; the silk sundress hangs in soft vertical folds off the hip, cinched only by gravity, its hem brushing the tops of her delicate gold anklets. Her right hand rises to her throat and two fingers hook lightly under the simple thin leather collar, tugging it a half-inch loose, the leather creasing where her fingertips press it; her left arm hangs free, the back of her hand just grazing the silk at her thigh. Her chin tucks down toward the lens — from this low angle the crown of her head and the small elegant antlers branching from her temples are silhouetted against the high clerestory windows, the antler tips catching a thin edge of light. Soft wavy honey-blonde hair spills in loose curls over both shoulders and forward across her collarbones, one curl caught between her jaw and her neck. Her glowing amber eyes are half-lidded and aimed straight down the barrel of the lens, warm and luminous at the iris center with a hotter rim where the window light grazes the wet of the eye; her lips curve into a lopsided smirk that keeps the soft, youthful, gentle set of her cheeks and brow while the lowered lids and the corner of the mouth carry the malevolent, seductive promise. Behind her shoulders, tiny fragile succubus wings fold and tremble half-open, membrane translucent enough that the window grid shows through them; the thin tail curls forward past her right hip and its tuft of soft fur hangs in the air beside her thigh, its tip lifted. The light is the estate's own: tall arched windows high on the right wall pour in cold pale shafts of volumetric light that strike the dust and cut visible diagonal beams across the hall, glazing the right side of her face, the ridge of her antlers, the silk's outer folds and the top edges of her wings in a hard rim while the left side of her body drops into deep shade. The one warm source is her own amber gaze and a low brazier glow from off-frame at floor level, which under-lights her chin and the inside of her jaw with a faint orange bounce. Behind and below her, on the flagstones in the middle distance, several desiccated male bodies lie on the floor in slack heaps — one face down with an arm flung out, one on its side with knees drawn up, one flat on its back — their skin drawn tight over cheekbones and ribs, garments collapsed and grey with dust, all of them rendered smaller than her and softened by the depth of field so they read as quiet evidence rather than gore; her shadow, cast long by the window light, falls across the nearest of them and the floor around them is swept clean of dust in a wide arc where something was dragged. Beyond the bodies the fortified estate background rises: a run of heavy stone columns, an iron-bound door, a banner hanging limp and faded, a balustrade, and the massed grey masonry of the far wall, dimmed and desaturated into the background haze. The palette is held to cold window blue-grey in the architecture and shadow, honey-blonde and warm sun-kissed skin at the center, the pale cream of the silk as the largest light value, and amber as the only saturated accent, appearing in her eyes and echoed once in the brazier's glow; gold appears only at the anklets. Every drawn edge, her silhouette, her antlers, her wings, her tail and the contour of each fallen body, is traced with a clean white outline that separates the figures from the dark stone behind them. Sharp cel-shaded planes with a hard terminator on the shadow side, no soft airbrush, the silk rendered as flat cream fields broken by crisp fold shadows, and the dust in the window beams the only soft-textured element. Ominous and luxuriously cruel.
