Palette kept to four notes and nothing else: black velvet and black night, the deep purple of her hair, the orange of the pumpkin fire and the candy, and the small red of the collar bow with the white of lace. Skin warms toward peach-orange only on the lit planes of her face and fingers. Mischievous, cozy.
