1girl, solo, miko, japanese clothes, white haori, white kimono jacket, red hakama, long black hair, black hair, hair tied back, low twintails, white paper cord, hair ribbon, tentacles, tentacles from back, multiple tentacles, large tentacles, tentacles spread wide, tentacles spread to both sides, symmetrical tentacles, standing, front view, straight-on, full body, arms at sides, own hands, bare hands, bare ears, bare earlobes, hair unadorned except paper cord, wide-eyed, parted lips, blush, sweat, trembling, tense, dark vast background, cold rim light, spoken_heart A true straight-on full-body front view, camera at the shrine maiden's chest height, no tilt and no dutch angle: she faces the lens squarely, feet planted shoulder-width apart on a seamless dark ground that fades to pure black at the edges, so nothing in the frame competes with her silhouette. She is a Japanese shrine maiden in a crisp white kimono jacket with wide stiff sleeves and a bright red hakama tied high at the waist, the hakama's pleats falling straight to her ankles, white tabi and straw sandals on the dark floor. Her long black hair is gathered back and bound with a twisted white paper cord, the tail of the cord and the loose ends of her hair lifted slightly off her shoulders by the air the tentacles displace. Both arms hang at her sides, hands loose and slightly open, fingertips just clear of the hakama's seams, and her weight sits evenly on both feet with the hips tipped a fraction to her right so the pose is not a stiff mannequin. Out of her upper back, through the white fabric of the jacket, a cluster of thick glossy tentacles erupts and fans symmetrically wide to both sides -- four visible arms per side, the two lowest curving down and outward past her hips, the middle pair sweeping level with her shoulders, the top pair rising above her head and bending back down at the tips, so the spread reads as a dark halo framing her whole body and reaching almost to the frame edges. The tentacles are a deep wet maroon-plum, their undersides lined with pale sucking cups that catch the light in small pale rings, and where they break the white cloth the fabric is stretched and puckered around each root, a few threads pulled taut. Every tentacle is in the same plane as her body, none of them crossing in front of her face, so the front view stays clean. The one asymmetry: the tip of the lower left tentacle has curled back on itself and hovers a hand's width from her hip, twitching. Light is a single hard cold key from the front-left, slightly above her eyeline, so the tentacles' wet upper surfaces take a long white specular streak while the cups stay shadowed; the light casts her shadow and the tentacles' shadows back and away out of frame, and beyond the pool of light the darkness is absolute. Palette restricted to white, vermilion red, deep maroon-plum, and black, nothing else admitted. She stares straight at the viewer, eyes wide, lips parted on a caught breath, a faint flush high on her cheeks, one small hand-drawn heart floating in a tiny empty speech bubble beside her face. Her hands are not doing anything; the tentacles are. Clean linework and flat digital coloring typical of modern Japanese character art. Quiet dread.
