character: saigyouji_yuyuko, konpaku_youmu 2girls, saigyouji yuyuko, konpaku youmu, dual wielding, katana, wakizashi, holding sword, sheathed sword, folding fan, holding fan, blue kimono, wide sleeves, mob cap, blue hat, triangular headpiece, pink hair, short hair, pink eyes, green vest, white shirt, green skirt, short hair, white hair, black hairband, hair ribbon, blue eyes, cool, confident, standing back to back, from below, dutch angle, cowboy shot, wind, dramatic lighting, full moon, night, bare tree branches, falling petals, looking away, serious, closed mouth, low angle, The camera sits low and tilts, so both women rise into the frame from below against a deep indigo night sky. They stand back to back at the center of the image: the shorter white-haired swordswoman in green on the left, her shoulder blades pressed flat against the taller pink-haired woman in blue on the right, a single gap of sky visible between the crowns of their heads. The low angle makes their hems and the long sword's scabbard the widest shapes in the frame, tapering up toward their chins. The white-haired swordswoman plants her weight on her left leg, right knee slightly bent and turned out. Her left hand grips the black-wrapped hilt of the long katana at hip height, the scabbard angled down across her thigh, its tip near the ground; her right hand rests on the shorter wakizashi thrust through her sash at her left hip, thumb hooked over the guard. Both blades stay sheathed. Her chin lifts, her blue eyes cut sideways toward the far left edge of the frame, past the viewer, and her mouth is a flat, level line. The wind pushes her short white hair and the black ribbon across the back of her head toward the right. The pink-haired woman behind her has one hand raised, holding a closed folding fan upright beside her cheek, the ribs fanned just slightly open and the paper edge catching the moonlight. Her other arm hangs relaxed at her side, sleeve fabric hanging heavy. She looks off to the right, in mirror to her companion, her pink eyes half-lidded and calm. Her wide blue sleeves and the frilled mob cap with its triangular headpiece lift and billow toward the left in the same wind that pushes the swordswoman's hair right — the two currents meeting in the gap between them and lifting a few petals upward. The only light is a full moon high behind and above the pair, so their faces fall mostly into cool shadow while a pale rim traces the tops of their shoulders, the curve of the mob cap, the spine of the katana's scabbard, and the top edge of the raised fan. A faint warmer spill at the bottom edge suggests lantern light far off-frame, catching the lowest folds of the skirts. Behind them a bare branch crosses the upper corner; the moonlit petals drift and one has settled on the fan's paper. Palette is restricted to deep indigo, cool silver, the blue of the kimono, the green of the vest and skirt, and a single warm pink in the hair — everything else stays dark. Quiet, deadly poise.
