More to See

1girl, solo, long hair, brown hair, brown eyes, sweater, oversized sweater, cream knit sweater, jeans, blue jeans, holding knife, kitchen knife, weapon, yandere, crazy, crazy smile, manic expression, wide-eyed, teeth, blood, kitchen, indoors, from below, close-up, dutch angle, dynamic angle, looking at viewer, head tilt, upper body, dark lighting, horror (theme), high contrast, blood splatter, Shot from below at a tilted dutch angle, close on the girl's upper body as she leans over the kitchen counter toward the lens — one hip braced against the counter edge, her weight loaded onto that leg while the other knee bends, her torso tipped forward so her long brown hair spills down past her jaw and hangs loose in front of the counter, loose strands catching across her cheek. Her oversized cream knit sweater bunches at her elbows and rides up one shoulder, its ribbed cuffs shoved to her forearms; the collar of the sweater sits uneven at her throat. Below the counter's near edge her slim dark blue jeans and the flexed line of her thigh are just visible, her stance planted wide. Her right hand grips the steel kitchen knife low and tight near her hip, blade angled up and inward toward her own shoulder, knuckles pale with pressure, the flat of the blade catching the light in one thin hard streak; her left hand is flat on the countertop, fingers spread, nails pressed white. Her head tilts sharply to one side, chin dipped, eyes wide open and fixed straight on the viewer under lowered brow, one eye slightly more narrowed than the other, upper teeth bared in a stretched open-mouthed grin, a fine red smear across one cheekbone and a fleck at the corner of her lip, a strand of hair stuck to the damp skin by her mouth. Loose strands of hair and the sweater's loose hem swing slightly toward the camera side, implying she has just lunged forward and stopped. The kitchen behind her is dim and shallow: a countertop edge crossing the lower third, a row of cabinet fronts in dark green-grey receding out of focus, a hanging utensil rail with blurred shapes, a faint pale backsplash, and blood splashed in a broken arc across the white tile and one cabinet door, one long drip running down the tile seam to the counter. The single light source is an overhead kitchen fixture just above and behind her head, so the crown of her hair is lit warm and the front of her face falls into partial shadow beneath the brow, the shadows of her nose and the knife's edge cast hard across her cheek and the counter; everything outside the lamp's reach goes deep and dim. Palette held to cream, dark blue denim, warm brown, steel grey-white and one saturated red. Shallow depth of field, the counter and cabinets softly out of focus behind her, sharp on the eyes and the blade. Unhinged, claustrophobic.
