character: remilia_scarlet, copyright: touhou 1girl, remilia scarlet, short blue hair, hair between eyes, red eyes, bat wings, mob cap, pink mob cap with red ribbon, frilled pink dress, short sleeves, red ribbon at chest, sitting on throne, sitting sideways with legs crossed, looking down at viewer, from below, worm's-eye view, foreshortening, chin raised, imperious gaze, half-closed eyes, smug, light smile, fingers curled over throne armrest, one hand on armrest, throne centered, scarlet devil mansion interior, vast dark hall, red-carpeted dais, pillars, arched windows, chandeliers, drapery, candlelight, deep crimson and burgundy palette, dramatic low-key lighting, single figure, no other characters, Viewed from a steep low angle that sits near the foot of the dais, the small vampire fills the upper center of the frame: she is perched high on an imposing gothic throne, body turned slightly to her right with her legs crossed at the knee, one slender knee crossing over the other so the pink skirt cascades down the near side of the seat and hangs in heavy folds. Her short blue hair frames her face, the mob cap with its red ribbon sitting atop it and the ribbon at her chest catching the light; the bat wings spread behind her shoulders, their membrane lifted and translucent against the dark red drapery of the far wall. Her chin is lifted, half-lidded red eyes angled straight down the camera's axis, one brow faintly arched, the corner of her mouth curled in a smug closed smile. Her left hand rests on the near armrest, long pale fingers curling over the carved wood, the forearm propped as though she has been sitting this way a while; her right hand remains in her lap. Contact points are exact: the underside of her crossed thighs presses into the cushioned seat, the heel of one booted foot hangs loose from the toes and catches a glint, and her spine leans just enough back that the throne's tall back rises behind her head like a crown. The throne itself dominates the dais: dark carved wood and worn gilt, finials, a high pointed back, a deep red velvet cushion crushed under her weight, the dais steps descending toward the viewer's low vantage. Behind and around her the hall of the Scarlet Devil Mansion opens up — rows of slender pillars receding into shadow, arched windows high up admitting narrow shafts of cool moonlight that fall across the upper stone but never reach her seat, heavy crimson drapery hanging from the ceiling, a long red carpet running from the dais steps toward the foreground where its banded gold border is visible at the bottom edge of frame. Chandeliers hang far above, their candles offering the warm key: the light strikes her face from below-left, brightening the underside of her jaw and her cheekbones, catching the red ribbon and the frilled hem, while her back and the far side of the throne fall into deep shadow. Beyond the chandeliers' reach the hall goes nearly black. Palette is strictly deep crimson, burgundy, near-black and the pale pink of her dress and the blue of her hair, nothing else admitted. The mood is opulent, imperious, quietly amused.
