More to See

two women, extreme size difference, giant, tiny woman lying on giant's bare stomach, lying on stomach, 20-year-old woman, long straight navy blue hair, blunt bangs, black eyes, loose green off-shoulder t-shirt, visible bra strap, black denim shorts, pink leg warmers, canvas sneakers, bare midriff, navel, from above, close-up, high angle, looking up, one eye closed, playful smirk, relaxed, 1990s anime style, cel shading, film grain, warm indoor light, skin contact Shot from high above, looking straight down: a monumental expanse of a giant's bare stomach fills nearly the whole frame, skin rising in a soft wide slope toward the ribcage at the top edge and falling away into the shadowed waistband of unseen clothing at the bottom. The skin is warm beige with a faint sun-touched blush; the navel sits low-left of center as a deep soft pit with a crescent shadow inside its upper rim. Across that expanse, a tiny young woman lies flat on her back, stretched diagonally from the navel toward the upper right, her whole body no longer than the giant's navel is wide. Her long straight navy blue hair fans out beneath her head and shoulders in separate flat strands that lift slightly at the tips, each one catching the light along its upper edge. Her blunt bangs sit square across her forehead, slightly parted by the tilt of her head. She wears a loose green off-shoulder t-shirt that has slipped down over her upper arms, its wide neckline baring one thin pale strap that crosses her shoulder; the tee's hem rides up a little over her waist. Black denim shorts, pink leg warmer socks bunched thick around her calves with a ribbed cuff, and small canvas sneakers, all resting directly on the skin. Her legs are crossed at the ankles, her sneakers resting on the giant's flank; one arm is flung out to the side, the other hand flat on the belly beside her hip, palm down, fingers spread, pressing a shallow dent into the surface. She turns her face up toward the viewer with one eye shut and the other half-lidded, a lopsided closed-mouth smirk at the corner, chin lifted; both eyes aimed up at the lens. A shaft of warm afternoon light comes in from the upper left, low and raking: her small body drops a sharp complete shadow onto the skin that runs down and to the right, the shadow of her crossed ankles elongating across the curved flesh, while the far slope of the belly falls into a soft warm shadow and the gentle rise near the ribcage keeps a narrow rim of light along its ridge. Her shadow narrows and curves as it crosses the dome of the belly, and the fine down on the giant's skin shows at the shadow's edge. Colors are held to warm beige skin, the green of the tee, navy blue hair and black denim against pink leg warmers, and nothing else is admitted. Flat cel-shaded planes with hard terminator lines, thin confident outlines, visible film grain, and muted 1990s television cel palette. Lazy, sun-warm afternoon.
