character: tomoe_hotaru, sleeping_beauty_(fairy_tale_character), aurora_(disney), copyright: sleeping_beauty 1girl, tomoe_hotaru, solo, sleeping, eyes closed, peaceful expression, faint closed-lip smile, lying on back, head tilted to one side, hands folded over chest, short black hair with purple sheen, purple eyes closed, purple choker, small circlet, bare shoulders, detached sleeves, purple dress, earrings, ring, nail polish, white feathered wings folded beneath and around her, pumpkin princess, orange pumpkin-shaped gown, ribbed pumpkin bodice, green vine sash, leaf-shaped crown, curled seed-pod ornaments, frilled dress, juliet sleeves, dream, sleeping beauty inspired, from above, overhead composition, soft vignette, warm candlelight Seen from directly above, a single girl lies asleep on her back in a bed of straw and trailing pumpkin vines, her body laid out along the frame's diagonal rather than square to the lens. Her head tips to one side, cheek pressed into a folded velvet cushion, both hands folded and resting one over the other on her chest, fingers loosely interlaced; the weight of her arms sinks the gown's ribbed bodice a little and the straw beneath her shoulder compresses into a shallow hollow. Her short black hair, glossed purple where the light grazes it, fans out across the cushion, a few strands lifted across her cheek by her slow breath. Her eyes are shut, lashes low and still, mouth softly closed in a faint smile, brows relaxed. A purple choker sits at her throat, a small circlet rests slightly askew on her brow, earrings at both ears, nail polish catching the light on her folded fingers, a slim ring on one hand. Her white feathered wings are folded under and around her, one wing spread out across the straw to her left, the other curled up beside her shoulder, their barbs separating where they press against the pumpkin shells. She wears a pumpkin princess gown: a round ribbed bodice in deep orange, skirt billowing out in broad pumpkin-like segments, a green vine sash knotted at the waist, leaf-shaped crown piece, and juliet sleeves detached at the bare shoulders, drooping open at the wrists. A great hollowed pumpkin arches behind her head like a canopy, its cut lid tipped aside, and smaller pumpkins and curling vines crowd the bed's edges. Warm candlelight comes from a single low candle at the lower left of the frame, the only light source; it rakes across her cheek, the tops of the pumpkin ribs and the upper surfaces of her folded hands, while deep warm darkness pools in the straw between the vines and swallows the far corner of the bed. Where the candle stands closest, the pumpkin shells hold a faint translucent glow and the straw casts long thin shadows away from it. The palette is pumpkin orange, vine green and warm shadow brown against her black-purple hair and white wings, nothing else admitted. Serene, storybook-still.
