Mirko's Sunny Picnic with Bunnies!

I absolutely adore how this piece turned out, capturing Mirko enjoying a peaceful moment outdoors surrounded by the cutest little rabbits! There's just something so heartwarming about seeing her tough hero exterior melt away in such a serene, grassy setting. If you love this bunny-filled scene as much as I do, please leave a like and follow for more art!

character: shinazugawa_sanemi, mirko, copyright: kimetsu_no_yaiba 2girls, shinazugawa_sanemi, mirko, casual clothes, sitting on grass, sitting, surrounded by rabbits, many rabbits, rabbit, smiling, sanemi behind mirko, standing behind, lovestruck, loving smile, looking at another, white hair, spiked hair, hair between eyes, purple eyes, long white hair, parted bangs, red eyes, long eyelashes, rabbit ears, dark skin, outdoors, grass, daylight, from above, dutch angle, depth of field, warm palette Seen from a slightly high three-quarter angle tilted a few degrees off level, Mirko sits in the near foreground on a sunlit lawn, legs folded loosely to one side, one hand braced flat on the grass behind her hip and the other raised to scratch the cheek of a grey rabbit that has hopped up against her knee. Her dark skin catches the warm low sun along the cheekbone and shoulder; her very long white hair, parted bangs falling over one red eye, spills across the grass behind her with her long rabbit ears standing up through it, one tipped slightly sideways. She wears casual clothes: a loose cream knit sweater with the sleeves pushed to her elbows and the collar slipping off one shoulder, a bare throat, and soft olive canvas trousers rolled at the ankle, feet bare. Her long eyelashes are lowered toward the rabbits as she smiles, an easy open smile with her teeth showing, and rabbits crowd the grass around her — three in front of her folded legs, one leaning on her knee, one flopped on its side near her hip, ears at different angles, noses moving. Sanemi stands close behind her, at her shoulder, leaning in with the weight of his torso toward her and one hand resting on his own thigh as he half-crouches to her height; his other hand stays at his side. His short spiked white hair catches the sun along the top of his head, a few strands falling between his eyes, and his pale purple eyes are fixed on her face, angled down toward her. His smile is unmistakably lovestruck: mouth soft and open in a grin, brows lifted, cheeks faintly warmed, eyes narrowed with feeling. He wears casual clothes too: a charcoal open flannel shirt with the sleeves rolled and a plain white undershirt beneath it, dark jeans, a worn canvas jacket hooked over one shoulder with one finger — nothing at his throat but the open shirt collar. The rabbits give his feet a wide berth, and the grass is flattened in a ring where Mirko sat down; the shallow shadow of the standing man falls across her hair and one of the rabbits, whose ears swivel toward him. The only light source is the low golden sun from the front-left of the frame, so the lit sides of their faces glow warm while the shadows behind them stay deep and cool green, and the far background dissolves into soft blurred grass and a few indistinct trees. Palette: fresh green, cream, charcoal, warm gold, dark brown skin and white hair. Warm, tender.
