He is a young man with brown hair combed into a neat side part, green eyes wide and shocked behind welling tears that have already cut two wet tracks down his cheeks, jaw slack, brows drawn up in trauma; he stands with both feet pressed together, knees locked, gauntlets clenched at his sides, polished silver plate armor catching a cold rim of cave light along the pauldrons and breastplate. Across from him she rises out of the floor itself: blue slime given a young woman's upper body, nude, small breasts with visible nipples, the smooth seam of her pussy exposed below her navel, her belly faintly rounded and slightly swollen; below the waist there is no body at all -- the cross-section melts and spreads into the blue slime wall behind her, her hips continuous with the cave's own surface. Her back sways far behind the vertical, hips pushed forward, chest lifted, weight carried by the slime column instead of her feet; both arms are raised straight above her head, and where her forearms reach the wall they lose their edges and fuse into the blue slime, strands running upward from her wrists. Long straight blue hair with heavy sidelocks hangs down over her shoulders and floats slightly at the tips. Her face is turned to the young man, blue sclera with no pupils fixed on him, mouth parted to show a blue interior, a faint flush high on her cheeks, breath moving her chest. A tentacle of the same blue slime rises from the floor between them and enters her vagina, its base still joined to the puddle she grew from, the penetration visibly filling her so that her belly bulges just slightly. He stares at the point where the tentacle meets her body; she looks at his face. A small hand-drawn heart sits alone in a speech bubble beside her cheek. The cave closes in behind them: walls of translucent blue slime with slow bubbles suspended inside, a floor of the same slime filmed with standing puddles that mirror both figures upside down, darker and softer than the originals, drips hanging from the ceiling and one breaking its thread above the puddle; the only light is a cold blue glow welling from the slime itself, so their shadows fall back into the cave mouth's darkness and every wet surface carries a thin specular line. Palette restricted to cold blues, translucent cyan highlights, the flat silver of his armor and the brown of his hair, everything else sinking into near-black. Strong atmospheric perspective, soft haze swallowing the far wall, watercolor washes bleeding into the dark. Quiet dread.
