More to See

character: cortana, (artist:jinx_shaco:0.8), copyright: halo_(series) 1girl, solo, blue skin, ((blue hair)), short hair, blue eyes, blue lipstick, hologram, holographic body, translucent skin, UNSC uniform, military uniform, olive green fabric, full-body tattoo, tattooed skin, standing, contrapposto, arms crossed under chest, head tilted, one eyebrow raised, sideways glance, looking to the side, astrid, spaceship bridge interior, from below, cowboy shot, holographic glow, rim light, dark background, cyan light spill, volumetric light, (jinx_shaco style:0.8), crisp cel shading, high contrast palette Shot from below in a cowboy shot, a single female figure stands on the raised command dais of a darkened spaceship bridge, seen at a slight three-quarter angle so her left hip and shoulder sit closer to the lens. Her skin is a solid even blue, and the whole of her body reads as a hologram: the surface has a faint inner luminance, the edges of her arms and jaw carry a thin soft cyan fringe where the projection scatters, and the deck grating behind her shows through the thinnest parts of her forearms and throat. Across that translucent blue body a dense full-body tattoo wraps in dark ink from her collarbones down her arms and across her midriff, every line of it faintly lit from within like circuitry under frost. Her hair is blue and cut short, a few strands lifted by the bridge's circulating air. Her lips are painted a deep blue, darker and more saturated than her skin, and they are closed. She wears a UNSC uniform: an olive-drab reinforced jacket with a stiff standing collar, heavy shoulder panels and a dropped utility belt, sleeves pushed to the elbow, the fabric matte and slightly worn at the seams — the matte cloth is the one opaque thing on her, so her blue body glows at the cuffs and open collar where the uniform ends. Her arms are folded tightly under her chest, the right forearm resting over the left, fingers curled against the jacket sleeve; her weight sits on her left leg with the right knee relaxed and the right heel lifted slightly off the deck. Her chin tilts up and away, one eyebrow arched, and her eyes slide off to her right, looking to the side at a bank of holo-displays rather than at the viewer. The bridge around her stays dark and mostly empty: a deep blue-black vault of shadow, a low railing behind her hip, a screen glow at frame left. The holographic displays at that left edge are the only light source — cold cyan light striking the right side of her face and the front of her jacket, leaving the left of her body in shadow, and where the light hits her arm it does not stop at the surface but scatters faintly through it, throwing a blurred duplicate of her tattoo lines onto the deck plate at her feet. Cool palette only: blue skin, blue hair, blue lips, cyan light, olive-drab uniform, black shadow. Still, quietly superior.
