1 object, single shield, long cross-shaped shield, cross shield silhouette, entirely metal construction, brushed steel body, blue enamel cross arms, blue outer roundel, red inner ring, yellow central boss, concentric roundel emblem, rounded terminal lobes, 3d render, high detail, object focus, studio lighting, seamless dark grey gradient backdrop, three-quarter view, slight tilt, no people, no text A single long cross-shaped shield stands upright and alone, seen from a three-quarter view so both the face and the thickness of its right edge are visible, tipped a few degrees off vertical as if it has just been set down and has not quite settled. Its silhouette is a tall equal-armed cross with rounded, lobed terminals on all four arms, cut and formed from solid metal — the whole body is steel, and every colour on it is fired enamel sunk into machined recesses rather than paint sitting on top. The face is a flat plane of dark brushed steel, and on it the four arms carry deep blue enamel panels whose edges follow the arm contours exactly and stop short of the steel rim, leaving a thin bright machined border around the entire cross. At the crossing of the arms sits the round center: an outer circle of the same deep blue, recessed a millimetre into the face and edged with a bright polished steel lip; inside it, concentric and true, a red circle of slightly greater depth; and at the exact center of the circle a raised yellow dome-boss, its convex surface taking a single small hard highlight. The dark brushed steel between the coloured regions shows fine directional grain, and the same grain runs across the back flange visible along the shield's silhouette edge. The backdrop is a seamless dark grey studio sweep going slightly lighter toward the upper left, an empty continuous field with no horizon and no surface detail. One key light from the upper left strikes the shield's face at a shallow angle, so the blue enamel catches a broad soft sheen, the red ring keeps a narrow specular arc on its upper-left and drops into deeper red toward the lower right, and the yellow boss is the only point on the object that reads as genuinely bright; the recessed circles each throw a thin crescent of shadow onto their own lower-right inner wall, which is what makes the depths legible. A soft fill from the right keeps the steel rim from going black, and the shield casts a short, low-contrast contact shadow down and to the right onto the invisible floor. Detail sits in the machined edges, the stepped depths of the three circles and the minute imperfections of the enamel surface; palette is deep blue, red, yellow and dark brushed steel against the grey sweep, nothing else admitted. Still, precise, quietly monumental.
