More to See

1girl, solo, futon, blanket, under covers, head only, face visible, peeking out, chin tucked, half-closed eyes, tired smile, blush, messy hair, black hair, bedhead, pillow, lying on side, from above, close-up, looking up, cold room, breath vapor, winter, dim room, speech bubble, ◯,❤️ From above, looking straight down at a girl lying on her side under a thick futon in a cold, dim bedroom; only her face emerges from the covers. The futon is pulled up to just under her nose and wrapped over her head, forming a soft fabric tunnel so the blanket's edge passes across her lower cheeks in a gentle curve. Most of her black hair is hidden inside the blanket, with a few loose unruly strands and a fringe spilling out across the pillow beside her cheek. Her eyes are half-closed with a drowsy, resigned smile; her cheeks are faintly flushed, and one side of her mouth curls upward in a tired, self-mocking smirk. Her chin is buried in the folded hem, and the pillow beneath her head is slightly compressed where she has pressed into it. Her breath forms a small, faint wisp of vapor that curls out of the gap between the blanket's edge and her nose, dissipating in the cold air. The room is a small, dim interior lit only by a faint, cool window light from the upper left; the blanket's surface catches a soft, lemony-blue sheen, and the dark beyond the futon's sphere is deep. The air is cold, and the visible breath and the tight, tucked posture both show it. A nearby windowpane has faint condensation at the bottom corners, and the floor is visible at the frame's edges with a pair of slippers left by the futon edge as though abandoned. Two rounded speech bubbles crowd close to her face: the upper-left one reads「今日のお部屋は15℃だよ」, the upper-right one reads「明日は生きてるかな？」, and a third, slightly heart-shaped bubble at the bottom right holds「お布団の中に避難です❤️」. Each bubble's text is clean, hand-lettered round black comic lettering, and the speech balloons' tails point toward the space just above her nose, from which a final faint breath vapor drifts. Delicate linework, soft cel shading, a cool muted palette of pale dusk blues, grayish-white bedding and warm faint blushes on the skin. The pillow is slightly caved where her head lies, and the futon's fabric bunches with a few rumpled folds near the frame's edge. Quiet, cozy, funny.
